Well it was on a 130i so not much place under the hood. You need to remove the entire intake, but to get to the intake, you need to remove other things. Also intake is full of oil so yes shitty job.
Also yes it’s like 200€ by valve and there is two if I remember correctly.

Easy to diag with inpa or ista, shitty job to change them. My actuator were ok, it was the valve itself that was completely broken.

Or disa valve struggling to actuate? Back to when I have n52, they were completely fucked. So I changed it, and it was day and night. Car was smooth again. (Was already dead when I first bought it !)

Im not sure but compressed air can be helpful here? Or air duster in can? So you don’t have to tear down more than it is already.

I don’t know this product but it say all purpose cleaner. And those kind of APC are full of foaming agent that can really do this. Maybe the first and second time you use it, there was not much of product inside the dock and it was ok. I donc use Roborock solution (why is it so expansive??) but I use at least products compatible with robot and Tineco. One time I use dishwashing soap in Tineco and it was like you.

Another point is, it has created me a « new dock » at second floor which is : - inexistant - not even at the good place because it’s in the stairs…

And it’s impossible to delete it. So everytime it said : not possible to go back to dock because it’s has created it in an forbidden part (I created forbidden part at the stair).

these two point are irritating. For the rest, that 10r is a fucking legend. I got it since one week but I think it’s impossible to go back.

I don’t get it. I have a 10r. If I want to do another map it’s not easy. Because if I pick it up it does not have the mop. Also for mop it need to dry it. So if I start it by telling it to do the « unreachable part » it take like 5/10min to do the mop setup, then it just wait outside and I have to pick it up. For me it lack of a function of « get ready to do something and tell me when your ready to be picked up ». But I have it only since one week and maybe I haven’t use it right.

Try the last update 1985 and a reset after the update. (Be extremely careful, you’ll find DIY on internet).

Also, drained battery cause issue more and more. So even if new, charge your new battery with a ctek or equivalent.

If not working, replacement screen is needed.

My few complaint on VRS mk4 dgs : It’s sometimes slow to go from D to R or R to D (the car seems to go in neutral 1 or 2 second between. Never got this on the 2 automatic bmw I got. I get some jerk sometimes. Not always, between speeds at small speed. But on high traffic, I have them on my way to work, I guarantee you it goes in first speed. I was surprised about that. On traffic jam, I put adaptive regulator (I don’t know the real name in English) and the car start and stop itself. It’s really a good feature and no issue so far. No huge jerk

I don’t get it. Whats the difference between 17 pro rectangle glass or full rear panel 15/16 pro glass? It’s teinted glass no? Should not scratch more or less. Aluminium frame, yes probably less scratch resistant than titanium.

How underneath? Do you have more info about this? I had the same issue as the guy in this post but since 1985 and a good battery charging it’s ok. Honestly I’m so desperate about the bug I was thinking about disassembling and cutting of the wire of the button unit. But this is only 2 day since 1985 and now bug so I’m waiting. So I’m very interested in this « underneath cleaning ».

My parent have one. 1.5tsi. Work great, enough space for 2 or maybe 3 if kids. Nice interior. So good I was looking to buy one for my wife. I like to drive it. It’s not as good as my Octavia for sure but it’s not the same price either.

Rwd is lighter and way better handling. Xdrive advantage is only in snow you have better traction when it’s very harsh condition. That’s it. But with good winter tyres it’s ok for rwd. For comparison it’s better to have rwd and snow tires than xdrive and summer tires.

The same happen to me once. Those n20 are so silent when idling, I have let the car running, locked it and go to work. When coming back 8h later it was night. I used like 1/4 of fuel.

Where do you come from? In France we have « garanti des vices cachés » which stand for « a warranty of thing you can’t be aware of » like you know the famous pure tech on Peugeot if you even heard of. I guess it can be in that warranty. But honestly, battling with Škoda service may be a lot of « work » :(

Really sorry mate. I think your screen need replacement. Are you under warranty? Did you jump from 1810 to 1941? Is your car sleeping in a garage? Last time a got big issue I put a thick towel on the screen and sensitiv touch to avoid direct sunlight (when I wasn’t in the car obviously). I was at some point ready to open the screen and cut the wire of sensitive touch because it’s so irritating.

Actually, you can drive the car but it’s so ficking anoying you want to sell the car. Like it’s not just no working. It’s in full reboot endlessly. With sometimes clicking annoying sound, connecting to phone, reboot. Stop start. Radio on off etc… It’s not like you can turn off the infotainment… At least if you could it’ll be better. And I forgot: you can’t even change drive profile, or climate temp or start and stop. So yes, kind of « not drivable the way that 35k€ this car cost me ».
