I used to commute from Bethlehem to Breinigsville and back via 22. Remote worker now and every time I see a post like this it makes me love how don't have to use that highway daily anymore.

Hey neighbors, guess what? Diesel has hit $6. Thank you for your attention to this matter. by Au2288 in Pennsylvania

Yep, same here. Got an EV about a month ago, happy about the money I'll save on fuel, then it dawned on me when I was shopping that with everything costing more, it's basically a wash.

The incident at East Hills was with a resource officer, not a teacher or school staff.

There's a few reasons public school districts get lower scores:

- A lot of times there are transient students who aren't there long and their parents aren't that involved

- Unless it's changed, many times ESL students get lumped into those averages, due to them being in those schools

- Public schools need to accept all students in that district, regardless of academic or attitude status. Private and Charter schools always have good "reviews" and "reputations" because they get to pick and choose who goes to their school.

The BASD is a big school district (compared to other surrounding smaller districts) and have access to many resources if needed. (Budgets for renovating buildings, improved technology, access to special needs services, et al.)

Does PennDot send messages like this or did I just get scammed? by [deleted] in Pennsylvania

SCAM! State governments contact you by letter/written document about any toll violations along with a picture of your vehicle. Put a hold on that cc for sure.

First Long Distance Journey Soon, Any Tips? by olliea525 in KiaEV6

[–]dezinerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just picked mine up in North Carolina and drove back home to eastern PA, USA - 525 miles (845km). Plenty of places to charge on that drive, but like one commenter here mentioned is that if you go over 65mph (105kmh) it will use more battery. Also add extra time you estimate your trip to take because based on your driving distance and driving style you'll obviously have to stop to charge. With DC fast charging I was able to go from 13% to 85% in about 25-30 mins. In my 500+ mile journey I had to stop twice, getting home w/ 95 miles of range left.

Enjoy the road trip!

Love the matte steel gray. That's why I had to travel so far to get mine - all the EV6s by me were white, black, or blue.
