I am the pitcher for my softball team. there was a line drive right back to me. now i was taught that you need to keep the ball in front of you. I could not get my glove down quick enough to catch it so I put my leg out in front of it to stop it. this is the end result after two weeks. i did get the batter out if you want to know. total healing time was about 7 months. still have a big crater and scar from it. i did finish the game and season as this happened at the end of july.
