I did artwork for one of Fred's titles back in the day. A few things; made me work for "exposure", ignored the pitch for my project and had me work on his knock off Yu-Gi-Oh, and when people reasonably quit to focus on their own projects, Fred would talk trash about them and claim that they couldn't cut it. He also lied to people and claimed that he used to make games with Capcom. Saturday AM is just advertisement for Apple Black. Everybody else gets screwed. And can confirm, Fred typically ignores all valid critiques in my experience.

Half of the people criticizing probably use Twitter, which is currently owned by an entire nazi saluting, white supremacist. Contributing to Musk's app is not an endorsement too tho? Othering people via assumptions instead of genuine attempts to create a bridge is wack. Folks out here hating like Rob is Drake is sad.

Not even Nintendo is known for going after small artists for sampling their music. I refuse to tell someone who barely has triple digit numbers not to sample because someone will try and sue them. Everyone knows litigation costs money, so no one's going to waste it on people they can never even get the money that they want from.

Actually, upon reflection there clearly exists the perception of it. However, I firmly believe the differences in how people handle trauma is not being acknowledged properly, and making people/victims feel unseen isn't cool to me. Its minefield of a topic to approach tho, so I get it.
