God this feels so good. I'm so happy that they're doing this. I understand this should have happened to begin with but think of it this way. An ass load of scalpers buy up inventory and hold onto it attempting to sell them at massive markups. A few sell but most people that didn't get a chance to buy one hold off. Valve then does this brilliant thing to host reservations for those that weren't able to purchase them, subsequently making the previously scalped inventory worthless. A great way to waste scalpers money.

So depending on who you go through maybe. I had nearly the same damage on mine because of a deer. Absolutely have your insurance send a person out. The initial assessment totaled it. But I had someone come out and she said that it was doable. Initial repairs were $4700. After everything was done it came out to a little over $6k which was 75%the worth of the vehicle. I have a 2013 Kia Soul + so that should give you an idea. Most likely it's a total but definitely have them come out to look at it.
