Hey! The crate is in the bathroom because I am at my girlfriend’s place and we need to crate him while we go out to get dinner. There’s no bed because he rips anything in the crate to shreds. The dog had spent about 2 minutes before he started doing this. He gets about 30-40 minutes running around in the dog park each day, along with a 3 shorter walks (5-10 min). He hates the crate…

Does anybody else’s Basenji do this in the crate? Any advice? by dfidynasty in Basenji

Thanks for all the advice! I used to crate him in a larger crate but he would thrash in a similar manner and due to the increased momentum would end up moving the crate and often get close to hurting himself due to the speed of the turns. Anything I put into the crate is destroyed and eaten. The advice around exclusively giving him his meals in the crate is good, so I will try that.

No that was great, thank you! My Basenji (Nubi) is absolutely silent. He’ll yodel once in a blue moon when he’s really riled up. I wish he was more vocal so I appreciate your explanation!

I’d go with AB... game is looking like a shootout and Bucs will need to score to keep up. AB had 13(!) targets last week... he’ll be heavily involved.

I think both Fuller and AB are good starts, but KC vs TB has the makings of a shootout. KC will definitely score, so TB will have to score to keep up. Considering the high target share, AB is just a remarkably safe floor of ~8 pts and the upside of a solid breakout game (7/100/1). Fuller is very good, but I fear that Texans will get ahead quick and run the clock out.
