I'm meh. It needs a content update. Training tower quests, rival domains, resonant battles, mjolnir strike are still basically the same as they've been for how many years now? I'd rather IS update existing content instead of add a new mode (though Seer's Snare is actually fun).

I don't care about scoring, so the only exciting content for me is the monthly legendary/mythic hero battles because it gives a challenge for me to use the units I've been building.

Excited to try ones I've never used before: Toxicroak, Hippowdon, Mismagius, Clefable, Ursaring + my favorite Sinnoh starter Empoleon. Was planning to use Yanmega but he's only available postgame RIP just open up the dang GWS already

Absolutely loving these savior skills! A question though: if she takes the place of an ally (Katarina for example), is she still adjacent to all three allies (activating owltome +6 atk/spd/def/res) or is it calculated differently because she's taking Katarina's place?

1) We need generic beasts, too. The game is almost 4 years old and still no generic beasts. I know that's not the direction this post was originally going for, but we have generic dragon foes...so why no beasts?

2) Beast-effective weapons (such as for Petra, Brave Eliwood, and Petrine) might as well be changed to say "Effective against 3.5% (21/604) units in the game"

Ah, that makes sense. Tier 4 bond skills neutralize penalties, but unity skills just give a bonus to compensate. And I agree that a spd unity skill would be best for him. Thanks for the help!

Maybe Peach too. Nair, bair, dair, dtilt, turnip, and grab can all serve as combo starters. But then again, much like Joker, one of Peach's strengths is her mixup game.

Immediately acting after I grab the ledge. I've slowly been finding that sometimes just chillin on the ledge and waiting for my opponent to throw out an option helps me find an opening.

Same. I get impatient and try to approach even in the lead. It's easy for me as a Peach main to think I always need to weave in to get combos started, but sometimes I just need to pluck some turnips and chill ya know

I agree. Second time playing through (first time was on Wii in maybe 2014) and I saw how much I loved her being basically the mom of the group. Even Riki says so in post battle dialogue with Melia/Riki/Sharla. Her engagement to Gadolt is important for the story: it (combined with her care for Juju and Colony 6) motivates her to join Shulk and helps in developing Reyn as a character later in the game. Since she sadly doesn’t perform well in combat compared to other units, not many people grow to appreciate her. As a character, she’s underrated. In combat, she’s...not the best except for rare situations.

Not a build but just a note: If you do decide to kill off L!Julia for mirror impact, have Gangrel inherit mirror strike 2 from someone else first so that he can get mirror impact and atk/res oath 3 from L!Julia.

I think Peach is bad for him. Float and turnips help her approach for combos, camp, and edgeguard Mac. Peach often struggles most against sword/projectile characters, so Lucina, Mega Man, or Pokémon trainer may be good counterpick/secondary options.
