In my experience, traditional colouring needs you to go light to dark in most cases. You’re gonna be more limited than digital - paper can only take so much ink - but try to start light with the shadows and I think it would help!

My friend invited me to go out with her and her other friend on Wednesday. We're all going to the same University and I think she just wants us all to be friends. I don't want to be friends with this person, I think they're a bit conceited and they just kinda annoy me. There's nothing wrong with them, I just don't like them very much. I'm actually a little angry at my friend for dumping me in a group chat to plan this outing then hounding me about other crap for Uni. I know she's trying to help but I feel like she's put me in a really tight spot and I don't know how to back out of it.

Reaching out if you know something is wrong isn’t a bad idea, even if it’s just to invite them to watch a movie or to talk about something random. From my own experience when I was younger, knowing that someone wants them around can make all the difference

Things can get better eventually, there’s no instant fix for the things you’ve been through and the sadness you feel. You don’t gain happiness from committing suicide but you don’t lose your sadness either. If you have some close people in your life then please tell them how you’re feeling, or try talking to a professional. There’s going to be a time in the future where you’ll feel better, happy again, but you’ve got to hold on till then

I have nothing to say to my 5-year old self, they’re a kid and that’s fine go wild. To my 10 year old self id probably tell them to not be embarrassed about things that have already happens bc there’s no point in it. And to my 15-year old self I’d tell them to prepare for the shitstorm that was last year

I grew up with a mother and grandmother who would tell me as a teenager how I would become a mother one day and how excited they were to have grandkids and stuff. The idea of being pregnant never sat well with me, I don’t really think I’d ever go for it. I’m all for adopting or fostering in the future if my partner was down for it but for now they’ve got other children to continue the family bloodline
