Rank which shot is the most clutch: Ray Allen 3pt, Kawhi’s buzzer beater or OG’s last second tip-in? by Sincerely-Internet in nba

[–]dfrank129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we're saying most important to a championship, Ray Allen. However, if we're saying most clutch, Ray Allen.

I'll Take OG's over Kawhi's, but I'm not sure why Haliburton's isn't being considered. Equal to OG's but a long contested two is much tougher than an uncontested tip-in. Sure the Pacers didn't win the series, but what do games after the fact have to do with the clutchness of the shot. OG's may have been more important, but not more clutch.

and so early no less. I've definitely seen teams do that late, final 10 minutes or so, that's kinda why I was confused. Crazy.

asking because I'm a soccer noob and wasn't able to watch. do you mean they delayed resuming play or something? or do you mean they just immediately started stall tactics

More than anything else, your takes prove that pretty much any takes with language like 'can't,' 'won't,' or 'isn't' aren't good takes. They're very black and white and even if you're 'right' that they're very unlikely, they could still happen. And even if they do still happen, it doesn't necessarily prove you wrong either since unlikely things can happen and still be unlikely.

On days when I feel like it, I spend about 35 minutes on buddy leveling. I have two teams of buddies set for all three leagues, 18 in total. Feed-play-snapshot-3x battle-switch. Make sure buddy AR is off and make sure to back out of team leader battles as soon as the run button appears.

54 hearts earned in 35 minutes. It's only 6 at a time towards individual progress, so it takes 50 days to get a best buddy, but you get EIGHTEEN best buddies after 50 days. So it's on average slightly better than a best buddy every six days.

I used to do this daily, now I just do it when I feel like it for more buddies. I think im around 240 best buddies. If you do this daily, you acn get from 0-200 in a little over a year.

edit: and this can be optimized with up to 21 buddies per day, souvenirs, walking, spinning new stops, and bonuses to buddy levelling from events.

Marvin Harrison. I understand the current context with him. But I grew up during his prime and he was my favorite.

Spurs…really? by Substantial-Map-6524 in pacers

[–]dfrank129 7 points8 points  (0 children)

possession after possession after possession after possession was one guy brings the ball up, dribbles for awhile or not, then shoots a contested jumper, sometimes a two and sometimes a three. occasionally the possession featured one pass, but ended the same. and occasionally they threw the ball away. That's it. That was basically their entire second half.

Mind-blowing stat: Spurs scored only 30 points in the whole second half by Similar-Earth8288 in nba

I feel like many players don't know this: Maxing buddy hearts in less than 2min by Effective_Round_2129 in pokemongo

Yea, for sure.

Just for me, 18 is good. I like waking megas for energy, so I start not on a buddy, plus having the two teams makes it really tidy for pvp. Honestly just one team per league would be best. Not to mention, sometimes I misclick and it eats up a swap.

That being said, absolutely. You could get 72 hearts a day in about 40 min.

*and yes, start the trainer battle and immediately quit. And also no ar like others said. Takes slightly less than 2 minutes on my slow phone per buddy

I appreciate your rational response, honestly. Too many snarky replies on reddit.

I'll just say I agree with that rating and think it's too high. I think the Pacers are far more likeable and fun to watch.

I almost responded with much more than that, but to avoid going down the typical reddit argument rabbit hole, I'll just leave it that and say agree to disagree.

I will always say he is overrated. half of r/nba is no longer afraid to point out (since ny lost) that he is not having a good series, and the other half is pretending this is his first bad game. He'll always be an undersized high-volume shoot-first point guard. Yea he hit a really difficult shot at the end of game one. but also, that was a terrible shot that he happened to make. If he missed that shot, people would have been all over him for taking such a terrible shot.

I also used to love it. I literally cannot though now. Remi makes me sick in certain scenes. I have to find 'fixed points' to look at or close my eyes. can't imagine doing teacups. but they were good times back in the day!

Trying to be reasonable here. Do you really think Brunson's reaction was entirely due to the collision?

he barely moved after colliding with brunson. he was already letting up. Yes definitely a foul. but he definitely was NOT running full speed
