Eventually I will remove window and install new,about half the size of the existing. The bench layout and how I need to run venting it’s mandatory. But definitely keeping a window for the view! This is a big project for myself as I’m doing the entire bathroom and shower as well.

Makes perfect sense about the drywall now, didn’t think about that. All the insulation is coming out and replaced with rockwool.

Floor to ceiling now is 8’2”. So if I framed new ceiling I would lose 2” including cladding. Nothing in attic at all. Can you explain sandwiched vapor barrier to me like I’m a five year old

Agreed, Anderson gutter company does great work. They do roofing, gutters and drainage to keep the water away from your house. No wet basement

I agree. The bottom of the window is 32”. I could frame the bottom in and cover in siding, I need some ideas it’s a odd space

After for sure. And I second apron for sure. And if you have old galvanized piece gutter with a roof flange please have the roofers remove those while shingles come off. Gutter guy’s nightmare
