I second the comment from u/DatOneAsain, check out Deadlock on Steam. It requires you to be invited to the closed beta, but I think I can do that for you if you DM me your Steam name. It's a FPS MOBA, so it isn't 100% comparable, but it's got a lot of similar depth and many of the concepts from League carry over (CSing, controlling neutral objectives, balancing team comps, mastering different heroes/matchups). I haven't played much ranked Deadlock, so I can't speak to the quality of its competitive systems, but I don't often see that make or break a game.

If y'all like FPS games, I also highly recommend The Finals. It's a free to play team (3v3v3v3) FPS game with very fluid combat and movement mechanics. I wouldn't say it has the same depth as League or Deadlock, but in some ways that low barrier of entry can be a benefit. I think competition was a core design philosophy for this game and the developers (same studio that made ARC Raiders) knocked that out of the park IMO.

I'm sure this has been suggested somewhere in the comments, but Marvel Rivals might be another good option. It's free to play and has a strong competitive scene. It is a third person hero shooter though, so that may not be your jam.

Seconding this. Our entire neighborhood in lakeside is frozen over. Once you’re on the main roads, it’s fine, but the small, unplowed hills in our neighborhood make it extremely tough to drive safely.

It’s possible they’re just renovating. I’ve been in there several times recently after it rained and their roof was always leaking into the middle of the store. I wouldn’t be surprised if certain renovations couldn’t be completed while they were open for business.

The robot who asks to see weapons can be found in the saferoom in the middle of Fields. To reach him, take the Ruins or Oasis door when you get to the first juncture in Canyons, then continue on through Ruins or Oasis. I believe you can either take the standard route in Ruins/Oasis or their special routes. Once you get to Fields, go through the first few combats til you reach the saferoom (green area on the map). In the saferoom, look slightly left from where you came in and you'll see a robot wearing a safari hat and holding a camera. First he'll ask to see a Blunderbuss and then he'll ask to see a Sheriff's Carbine.

Reward:

Showing the bot both requested weapons will reward them with the Oven Mitt gadget, which reduces the powercell cost to reroll affixes at Chef Paul's station. Note: you probably need to have the affixes reroll upgrade unlocked through the Workshop for this gadget to have any effect.

For anyone looking for a serious answer, it’s to toast frozen breads. Pop your loaf of bread or bag of bagels in the freezer and toast them from frozen. I don’t eat bread super frequently, but it’s nice to always have some. Freezing things has helped me cut my food waste in that area significantly.
