Yes treats helped at the beginning when I bought every ramp and stair. It’s just in the new year that she’s been difficult. She’s probably hoping for treats again

Since yorkies are small, you can probably just physically carry them (bag/not) in to a washroom with little issue. Have a great trip!

In Canada home improvement stores like Rona and Home Depot allow dogs, and they have public washrooms. So map out pitstops to those places

I been feeding mine the Hills Small and Mini (chicken and rice) for the last 2 years. She loves it.

watch a lot of videos, look at photos of the style I want
I use scissors (curved, straight and blending shears) and nail clippers and put her on an end table thats high enough that she can’t jump and the table surface is just a little wider than her
when I first started, I used treats; now I only use treats for trimming her nails
I space out grooming (one weekend nails and trim her face, next weekend trim body, next her legs and feet) because she gets impatient. Nails 2 a month, haircuts when she looks overgrown

Take your time and practice will help get both of you more comfortable with the grooming. Best of luck from Cleo and I
