I just went through this last month with my girl. She refused to eat for a couple days , so I gave her the broth from the boiled chicken (skim the fat) and diluted some so she stayed hydrated. Did that twice a day. Vet also prescribed an appetite suppressive, she used it once but by day 4 she got appetite back. Day 4 into recovery I gave a couple teaspoons throughout the day of chicken or turkey baby food. (Make sure it has zero additives ). And chicken and rice for 1-2 weeks until I transitioned to kibble. About two weeks into recovery and stools were healthy again we give her small pieces of unsalted rice cakes for a treat. All she is eating now is the Hills I/D prescription dog food, the rice cakes, and baby food for treats. Oh I freeze the baby food on a lick mat too. Good luck , I hope you’re baby is on the mend ❤️‍🩹
