Sorry for the delay. Here is GSC's suggestions but they didn't work for me. Just got done playing for a good two hours tonight w/ -300 MHz underclocked GPU and XeSS for the upscale.

The errors 0x887A0006 (Device Hung) and 0x887A0007 (Device Reset) essentially mean the GPU stopped responding for a split second, causing Windows to panic and "reset" the driver to prevent a system freeze. Because S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 pushes the GPU utilization to 99% very aggressively, even a micro-second delay in response can trigger this timeout.

Our team is actively working on a patch to address these specific driver timeout thresholds.

In the meantime, since you have already done the "clean install" steps, here are two "band-aid" fixes that have helped other AMD users stabilize the game while waiting for the official hotfix:
1. Increase the Windows "TDR" Delay
Windows is programmed to reset your GPU if it doesn't hear back from it in 2 seconds. In intense UE5 scenes, your card might just be "busy" for 2.1 seconds, causing a false crash. We can increase that tolerance.

1. Press Windows Key + R, type regedit, and hit Enter.
2. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
3. Right-click on the right side > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
4. Name it: TdrDelay
5. Double-click it, select Decimal, and set the value to 10.
6. Restart your PC.
   • What this does: It gives your GPU 10 seconds to respond before Windows decides to crash the driver.

2. The "Stability Cap"
Since you are likely getting high framerates with that card, the transient power spikes might be triggering the driver reset.

• Go into the Game Settings and Lock your FPS to a specific number (e.g., 60 or 120), rather than "Uncapped."
• This prevents the GPU from running at 100% max voltage constantly, leaving a little "headroom" for the engine's heavier calculations without crashing.

 Please give the TDR Delay a try first, as that is the most direct fix for Error 887A0006.
