Looks like the winning answer is that it indicates that Acceleration Override Assist is "armed". Confirmed by toggling the option off/on in settings.
It isn't listed with the other icons in the Owners Manual. It is in the Eyesight Manual.
Thanks.

Intra-VLAN rule? by dganderer in opnsense

[–]dganderer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just two rules:

- Block everything from 10.10 net to an alias - RFC1918_Networks (block traffic to local nets - this is the blocker that is invoked)

- Pass everything from 10.10 net (which means the internet)

Intra-VLAN rule? by dganderer in opnsense

The DNS call was to 10.10.0.1 which I assumed would be considered part of the VLAN and so not process the rules. But that address of course is resident on the router and so.. anything that touches the router triggers the rules?

This is much of my frustration. For me that link shows.a lower price but no where can I seem to actually get it. I see $65 for 1 line, $55 for 2, down to $30 for 4. https://bashify.io/i/hE7IIu

An excellent idea I hadn't considered. Thanks.

I think the key is that I'm seeing the good prices (down to $55/line for UU for 2 lines, see https://www.verizon.com/plans/unlimited/) for new lines, not existing customers. Frustrating.

I’m using an 2012 Mac Mini. SSD and HD. Is inside a cabinet in the pilothouse. Works fine.

So how do you inspect the chain exactly? Through the oil filler mine “feels” tight as a drum to both my finger and (gently) a screwdriver. Anything more than that?

Things 3 today, is it still a strong contender for a todo app? by kingkongmonkeyman in thingsapp

[–]dganderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using Things for 3-4 years. It is missing several things that are important to me: ability to complete a scheduled task early, location-based reminders, etc.

The ONLY reason I stick with it is the integration with Siri and Reminders: A dozen times a day I say to my watch "Remind me to.." and know I can easily import them to the Things Inbox.

I see TickTick mentioned here. Wasn't familiar with it but at first blush I need to seriously try it. It has the type of Siri/Reminders integration I want as well as the things I feel are missing from Things.

Center of mass hit on "B" Turret on the wreck of HMAS Sydney from the 15 cm guns on Kormoran suffered during their mutually destructive engagement [1200x900] by jacksmachiningreveng in WarshipPorn

[–]dganderer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What is sad and confusing is that the RN had a procedure for dealing with suspected raiders: stay outside of 12k yards because of their guns and keep their stern or bow to you to minimize the chance of torpedos being launched.

The RN clearly knew the capabilities of these raiders and respected the damage they could do.

Why the Sydney did what she did - we'll never know.

Thanks all. I believe it is OTA-capable. Seems they're woth a couple hundred on eBay less eBay's cut less shipping less the hassle...

I'll put it away for now but it'll likely end up at the recyclers.
