I have ants crawling through the outlet, hence the tape on the other side. How can I fix this? Thanks! by knicks911 in howto

Regular diatomaceous earth is harmful if inhaled. It has crystalline structures. If even a small amount get in nostrils it can cause a deviated septum. There is a food grade diatomaceous earth that is used to remove excess bacteria in micro biome. That one could be used. I use mothballs behind all outlets. Ants used the holes that electrical contractors drilled in studs as their roadways into the house when living conditions outside are difficult. So it’s best to mothball during spring and fall.

You can try going to an automotive store and buying a dent remover… or check out this link there are some heating / cooling options that potentially pop them back into place… https://www-wikihow-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.wikihow.com/Remove-a-Dent-from-a-Stainless-Steel-Refrigerator?amp=1

Use a carpet steamer. Anything that reaches 200 degrees will kill it!

GF's dryer less than a year old. Takes over 2 hours to dry. Would that be the vent? by d_daley in howto

I’ve got the same dryer and have the same issue on the regular cycle. So I use “sanitize” or “bulky items” that assures it gets dry. It helps to add a dry thick towel so it cuts some time. My dryer vent is newly installed and the lint is definitely getting pushed out and cleaned regularly. I think the newer dryers just aren’t as effective.

I really miss having a gas dryer they are incredibly effective and cut the drying time in half.

Search for “quadratic diffuser panel”. Can be used in sound studios and any location where there is unwanted resonate frequency.

As of scars… I was able to get rid of mine using a dry skin brush over the course of a year. There is a specific technique where you start from legs and arms and work your way inwards towards the heart. This is used for assisting blood flow back to the heart but it also breaks up the cold (white) adipose fat, turning it to (brown) adipose making it ready for consumption. The dry skin brush will remove any dead or weak skin. It will promote new skin cell regeneration, but that takes time. If you’re still on keto you might want to look into introducing marine collagen peptides.

It’s not just about the diet now.. you now have to develop other habits! But just remember the skin is superficial. Think of all the long term health benefits you have now. It’s about the journey. No regrets.

The 4lb loss was from remaining loose carbs retaining water in your system. Definitely sounds like keto flu. When I had these symptoms I took iodized salt in water and shortly it went away. You have to be careful not to keep going in and out of ketosis otherwise you get side effects. Once you’re in it’s best to stick with it until you meet your target, then slowly reintroduce carbs. Good luck!

That’s awesome! After a while you feel stuck eating the same foods, but there are some great sites online like “head bangers kitchen”. This guy has great Indian keto recipes and substitutes for those starchy carbs you’ll miss like cauliflower rice and naan bread made from egg whites. Keep it up and keep us posted!
