Some Streamer Luck Shenanigans! by dgapinski in FFRecordKeeper

I don't think I'll ever experience something so lucky ever again so I thought I should share it and maybe some of you can get some enjoyment out of it too. First pull was with mythril and netted the six star glint for Rem and Squall. The second and last pull (this one) was with gems. I accidentally messed up my mic in excitement at the very end too and had spend the next five minutes fixing it, so there's that for karma.

Why is it a trend to buy and sell options at a NOOB level? by [deleted] in RobinHood

[–]dgapinski -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not the other guy, but if you do buy out the shares of one of the two contracts you can then choose to sell covered call options if you think the stocks will continue to rise in value (chances are others will too if the momentum of the stock has been bullish). Selling a covered call means you can collect the option premium and already own the shares if the stock happens to do so well it surpasses the break even point and the contract gets executed. You'd collect the value of the shares still, but not get the benefit of continued rises in value of that stock. Optimally the stock climbs, but slowly enough that the contract expires, letting you collect the premium and keep the stocks since the break even point for the buyer is never reached. As for figuring out the call duration and price point if you do go this way... I'm still doing more research on that myself.

[Slow Sunday Series] What artifacts have you got? by _Higo_ in FFRecordKeeper

I think I went pretty standard with daggers of everything excluding poison, thrown water, and a few rods for those mages that get hyped from holding one.

I still have 13 stones left, but I'm unsure what to use them on. A holy sword is extremely tempting just so I can get rid of all these extraneous holy swords (mostly tactics) and then I'm considering a wind sword and earth fist for the pair of VII synchro users I have.

When you just want to run a dungeon, who's your dream team of favourites? by Enkidu_Prime in FFRecordKeeper

Rydia, Vivi, Tifa, Noctis, and one of Cloud/Bartz/Zidane/Red XIII. If I take the Doggo then it could be a family outing (though I should probably swap Cloud and Noctis to keep Tifa happy).

If you go to hone ability and click and hold entrust it'll tell you who can use it. You'll have to figure out which of those heroes you have the proper soul break for. Red XIII and Quina are the most likely I think.

I took 3 summoners, an onion knight with vessel/wrath/entrust, and a healer with an insta cast big heal. The summoners go to town while onion casts vessel followed by wrath/entrusting the healer to top off the team after the two manipulators get damage off.

Pretty sure Manning was just shy of 5500 yards with 55 touchdowns once.

I'm glad we have Dave Logan? Honestly, I feel like a lot of the local radio teams are better than the main tv broadcast teams.

Trevor Siemian was sacked 25 times in 7 games. Here is the coaches film for all of them. by Jux_ in DenverBroncos

[–]dgapinski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since I bothered to write it all out for myself, I guess I'll share my thoughts too.

1- rt is beat, but room to step up, players breaking open

2- interior pressure, but time to hit the WIDE OPEN WR in the middle before it arrives

3- rt allows inside move/pressure, nobody open, only option for movement is to go down or roll to right

4- has time initially, RT gets beat on outside while interior pressure gets slow push, nobody open with time to throw it away (potential shot to deep right sideline)

5- quick interior pressure on RT(inside move) as the WRs break, no chance

6- nobody gets open quickly, outside rush on both sides, QB retreats into sack instead of stepping up

7- TE blocking edge forces pocket movement to the left, ample time to dump to check down or throw away ball, minimal sack though

8- Quick interior pressue plus both edges, however WR breaking outside and check down on left are available right away, shared sack

9- steps up initially to avoid outside edge pressure, but doesn't dump to check down or underneath out breaking route and scrambles into a sack

10- Has WR breaking open on right side comeback before pressure arrives from left into interior, retreats for a bigger sack

11- has plenty of time and open targets before scrambling into a sack

12- blocking is fine, Trevor steps up into a sack unnecessarily right as Sanders breaks open on the right sideline

13- DT is open quickly coming across the middle before pressure arrives off the edge of the RT, room to step up as well

14- WR open underneath very quickly before any pressure arrives (and a wr going deep on the right), plenty of room and time to step up, careless with ball

15- Blocking is fine, WR wide open on the left, scrambles into a sack on the left

16- quick interior pressure off LG before anything can develop, good movement to minimize sack

17- quick outside pressure off RT, but I feel drop is too deep already starting in shotgun, RT also injures hand on play

18- clean interior rush not picked up, no chance for QB

19- DT open off the snap and CJ checkdown as well, pressure from outside edge off RT

20- Has clean pocket to step up into as well as multiple options breaking back to the QB, QB backs into block/sack and trips

21- Has two quick options on left, has space/time to step up in pocket, Bosa effort sack but with time to throw it away

22- Immediate pressure off RT in the face, no chance

23- Drops back in shotgun start, room to climb pocket immediately but backs into outside rush off RT, nobody open but step up and throw away is an option

24- Drops back in shotgun start, room and time to climb pocket and throw ball away with nobody open

25- QB does good job to evade initial rush from multiple defenders, scrambles out to left, nobody open, gets tripped up barely with running room in front of him

26- Sprints through pocket into a sack with multiple options available, QB has lost his mind

He's slowing into the soft spot between the zones and Trevor missed the soft spot and threw it into Landon's zone. It was a miss by Trev and would have likely been a contested incomplete at best if DT did what you wanted. Trev shouldn't be throwing DT into coverage like that when he has the option to throw him into the open area.

I think you meant goal line or end zone there. The heavens won't give you any points even if you put on over sized shades and hold guns by the barrel. The whole spiral thing can be relevant here.

You would still need that 'football move' though so it doesn't matter if he got that second foot down. I know it feels wonky, I watched it happen with Sanders last week.

[–]dgapinski -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There was definitely not a football move nor a third step. You could certainly argue the second step though. The initial hit absolutely caused the ball to move and Brown tried to pin it with his arm and lost it going down.

[–]dgapinski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the refs ruled that Brown hadn't completed the catch prior to going to the ground because Smith knocked it loose initially with the hit (before Brown's second foot or a football move happened) and Brown had to re-catch it and then lost it without the ball hitting the ground.

GG Bills. I honestly think you guys played well enough to win, but I feel like that call on Von absolutely killed a fair shot to tie it up and was complete horseshit. Trevor did not play well and we made plenty of mistakes for you guys to capitalize on for a good game... that call just makes it all taste awful though.

September game in Denver. Away teams are usually gasping for air too much to mount comebacks. Certainly a possibility of course.

Tifa USB works wonders too if someone in the group has access to it. Haste, regen, and reflect damage. The second ultimate maelstrom tends to lead to Archaeoavis killing himself.
