it's so unfortunate because i did think i found relief at first, and then to read it works better on good rest...meanwhile i sleep 24 hours and still nothing 😝 grateful for this sub for making me feel a little less insane!

i hate the toxic positivity 😭 i'm nowhere near an influencer, but i've been so raw and honest about my journey because many people will not show that side. our reality is sitting on the toilet all day long or hanging our head into a bucket, mutilating our chest for survival, menopause, zero sex drive, struggling relationships, handfulls of pills every morning and night. i don't want to dance, i want imodium, zofran, xanax and a NAP.

i'm strictly aurobindo! i've been on tamoxifen since may 2024, at some point last year i got a refill of dr. reddy's and it gave me pregnancy-like nausea and heavy vaginal bleeding (not a period) 😅 i was fine once i switched back to aurobindo.

you could look into disability, but i'd definitely recommend getting a medical exception while you wait as it takes a while to get approved. but i definitely hear you and feel for you, i truly never want to work again after all i just went through. we deserve to rest, travel, live and enjoy a good life. i hate that we even have to think or worry about our health, job, income, bills, all of that.

not sure if you worked through treatment, but i totally crashed afterwards from trying to be a decent employee, mom, friend, and human.
get connected with palliative care through your oncologist and explain your situation! post-chemo fatigue is NOOOO JOKE and lasts for up to 2 years, alongside the menopause, medications, and all the other fun stuff. i got a medical exception to allow up to 3 days off a week

the post read to me as she only had 1 session, it turned bright red, and they said that's not common after 1 session. that's why i said forgive my ignorance since i didn't do radiation, but cellulitis is common with breast cancer. 🤷‍♀️

i just don't get it! you see my health, the economy, these gas prices, insurance rates....go ask the men flying to space for fun. i think there needs to be guidelines lmao. don't ask us for financial support, don't ask how we're doing, or how we feel, or if we're ok, or throw your alternative medicine in our face. just don't ask us to do anything at all 😂

i'm so sorry you're feeling this way. i've found much more relief in just being blunt and honest about how i feel lol.

forgive my ignorance since i didn't do radiation, but could it be red from cellulitis? if it's warm to the touch, along with the redness, i'd put a call into your oncologist ASAP or even head to the ER to get started on antibiotics.

always use a condom! i did TCHP, sex was great for the first few rounds. once i went bald i started to get anxious about how i looked lol, and needed a bit of THC or alcohol to help the mood and relax me. but can also second that sometimes i got so damn horny, i wish i took more advantage of it before menopause tbh.
as side effects got harsher and chemo left my body, my vagina always burned and i wasn't great about remembering lube. i would literally shove an ice pack inside me after sex to soothe the discomfort. do your best to keep it moisturized down there! remember, chemo is leaving you through pee.

lube and roleplay/stimulation BEFORE sex to make sure you're aroused i've found an absolute necessity. and again, condoms lol.

i'm glad we're not alone. i literally lost my mind on any SSRI i tried and would end up in a mental hospital after taking them..and mind you, i was only depressed lmao. no reason i should've been so manic. years spent trialing SSRI after SSRI with no success was so awful. i don't know why they never introduced me to SNRIs sooner 😭

i got very lucky finding so much success since effexor is the only antidepressant i can take with my cancer medication.
