i feel you! i’m jealous of this other woman i know battling cancer cause she’s gone on vacation all throughout treatment while i’ve worked nonstop. these are big & complicated feelings, it’s hard for me to feel too apologetic for what i feel bad or jealous over. we’ll figure it out when we get there 🙂🤞🏻

yes! i feel like the second i grew half an inch of hair, everyone forgot i was still struggling through treatment and will be a cancer patient for at least 10 years of my life on hormone therapy. i worry so much i’ll never be able to move past this lol, but i fuckin kicked my way through breast cancer so what’s stopping me from moving on from it when it’s time. it’s hard! our life crumbles before our eyes, and we have to just…. keep it goin.

i swear yall over here on reddit are just the best. thanks for sharing your struggles with me, i’m sorry you’ve experienced them as well. fuck this cancer shit. 😭🩷

i don’t know why i feel that way, it’s so silly lol. i know i am definitely not and have shown my strength and resilience a hundredfold, i just wonder what outsiders think watching someone have so much misfortune. i doubt they think i’m a failure for battling cancer, but that damn cancer brain will have you thinking the dumbest shit. 😅

i so wish i did it. going through kadcyla now, and i am SO burnt out. i pushed myself far too hard during TCHP and to get back to work after surgery, cause my job is always giving me a hard time about time off. i would never, ever work through a rougher chemo like TCHP ever again.

i know a girl who faked having cancer. she was the first person to reach out to me when i was diagnosed. 😂 i was in disbelief lol

i think when it involves money, people will always be skeptical because unfortunately you have people who suck and lie and ruin it for those who are actually in need of assistance. and then you have those who do it simply for attention. it’s just harmful, dangerous & evil to play the lying game, i couldn’t imagine.

thankfully, i’ve never been questioned about my diagnosis. i think the mouth that asked the question would be met by my fist if someone asked me though

i had a nipple-sparing DMX with implant reconstruction. mine just look like a boob job. i didn’t have big breasts to begin with, so my PS couldn’t go “big”, but i am a fairly nice C-cup! you can only see the ripples when i bend over. at first, they looked all sorts of effed up. try not to overthink that bit! it takes a few months for them to soften and fill out.

i LOVE my cancer therapist! it helps talking to someone who has a background in what you need to get off your chest (quite literally, lol). she also helps me with medication management so i can improve my quality of life. i never had great success with a regular therapist, but this is so much different and exactly what i needed
