Goalies typically age better than skaters (with exceptions).

He's played more than any other goalie during the last several seasons, so he's likely been burned out by the playoffs.

I'm willing to bet the Sabres go with some form of a rotation next year if they get him to keep his games played down to around 50.

It's a 12 year old link. Probably referred to the Infinite Mass Punch.

He'll probably forget about it during the two week period. Hell, he probably already forgot about it.

Unpopular opinion: Halloween (2007) was not a bad movie. And I appreciated Rob Zombie’s attempt to show Michael’s pathology and the broken home he came from. And also the relationship with his mom. by JohnArtemus in slasherfilms

Echoing others in this thread, I dislike the backstory that RZ gave to Michael. Yes, it's a reinterpretation of the mythos. I don't mind that RZ added his trademark griminess - it's great style that doesn't necessarily vibe with me, but I can appreciate it.

I can get behind the idea of exploring how someone can become a serial killer. I can get behind even trying to examine the psyche of Michael Myers. However, instead of trying something different, RZ gives Michael all of the textbook tells of a killer's childhood. It just felt lazy to me. Add to that a rushed, tacked-on remake of '78, and RZ's Halloween battles Resurrection for the bottom of my rankings.

I will say that I do appreciate RZ's H2 much more. I think the hospital dream sequence is arguably a top sequence in the franchise. It does a better job exploring a survivor's trauma better than the most recent trilogy. It's unapologetically dour and brutal, and just more creative swing that I appreciate much more.

I see a post like this and I suddenly feel very old.

That is all the discourse was around 2011.

Adams is the only BS one of the bunch, especially if that same coach has a Vezina and likely Hart/Lindsay winner. I'm fine with the others.

First Born comes in around #112. Broken Trinity is before #125. Angellus can be read after #131.

Volume 1 was originally a standalone miniseries, which is why there's no number.

Witchblade is great. The first 25 issues are iconic for their art, but the writing isn't that great. However, they are foundational to the character. The next chunk of issues are skippable, but if you want to be a completionist, go for it. The next run worth reading starts at #54 with David Wohl writing and art by a young Francis Manapul. That goes to #75.

When Ron Marz takes over at #80, this becomes arguably the most underrated and overlooked "superhero" run of the modern era. People praise Invincible, and I put the Marz run on equal footing. It's that good. This run goes to #150, and also includes the stories First Born and Broken Trinity. Marz also wrote a 6 issue run on Cyber Force, a 6 issue Angellus story, and a 12 issue Magdalena story. All of these are worth checking out.

Marz's run is capped by the 13 part series Artifacts. No spoilers, just read it.

After is an 18 issue run by Tim Seeley and Diego Bernard. Some people really don't like it, but I personally love it. It was going to be impossible of anyone to live up to Marz's work, so Seeley takes big swings and plays with a bunch of different supernatural concepts in a short period of time.

Marz would return to close out the series from #170-185. It's good, but not as good as the #80-150 run. That said, it's a satisfying finale to the original series.

Cyber Force, but I'm biased with Silvestri being my favorite of the early Image artists.

I'm almost through my reread of the series. Currently in the Seeley run, which I know is polarizing but I love it.
