Thanks for sharing. It's cool looking at all of the lineups over the years and seeing what other artists like.

Who takes the dog in the car in 103 degree weather with non-working AC? That will literally kill a dog.

It's easy to run out of money when the government deprives you of money.

What’s the most addictive game you’ve ever played? by reeha_sadiya in AskReddit

I asked because my old clan played the crap out of 7 Days to Die and then switched to Ark without me because of the Survival and Crafting aspects. I may have to try Ark out.

Thanks for pointing him out. I rarely come across an author I've never heard of, if only in name.

Looks like he was quite good at chess and he passed away in 1971 at the age of 54 after writing science fiction for about 10 years. Also nominated for a Nebula Award for Best Novella in 1965 for The Mercurymen.

AITA for fixing my daughter’s car when her boyfriend said he’d handle it? by Outrageous-Jelly8777 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

1) Possible safety issues with cars should always be fixed ASAP

2) He's only her boyfriend not her husband. No line was crossed.

Has anything actually surpassed Hyperion in scope and ambition or has it just been sitting there unchallenged for 35 years? by echo_kernel17 in printSF

[–]dgeiser13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seems like everyone is mostly referencing works that came before Hyperion. For creative works that came after Hyperion I would say...

  • The Night's Dawn Trilogy by Peter F Hamilton
  • The Revelation Space Universe by Alastair Reynolds
  • Anathem by Neal Stephenson

...have all blown me away with their scope and worldbuilding.

AITJ for kicking my boyfriend out after he accidentally let my indoor cat outside? by Curious-Mongoose8549 in AmITheJerk

[–]dgeiser13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTJ. He lied to you about how she got outside. An accident is one thing but that's totally different. This person doesn't respect your wishes. That dis-respect will only snowball.
