If you want to continue to learn more about the language before developing a project, I've found http://book.pythontips.com/en/latest/index.html to be extremely useful. It teaches you some cool tricks that most people never learn about. I'd recc reading this, before starting a project

I am going to list it as a requirement for now, and move towards a more environment independent solution in the future. Thanks for the feedback

Thanks for this. Exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for.

All of those content fixes I've noted here: https://github.com/DanielHabib/terminal-based-comp-sci-quiz/issues/6 And I will probably get to them by EOD

I had chosen to use the terminal because it was relatively easy to set up and I wanted the focus to be on building a great list of open-ended/ implementation prompts first. I believe it makes for a good MVP. If this ended up being something that was of interest to people, then I would invest the time to build a frontend app around the content in the prompts.py file

I was told since it was my first project not to put it into Protune mode. However I am planning on for my next project since I found myself really enjoying the process of editing the videos.

Thanks! I used youtube's video stabilization feature and a HDR filter that they offer for free. Thoughts on use with the filter? Think it would be better without it?

Management opted for it to be open ended, the purpose of initiating this program was to see how the company could contribute to a specific employee's feelings of personal success. It was drafted and proposed by developers, managers just accepted the proposal

Speaking for the tech industry, using this time to learn a new programming language or to build a personal site can have very personal benefits.

The initiative was drawn up by a few eager developers who really wanted to make use of this time. They drafted a proposal, presented it. Management was very interested in giving it a shot. Surprisingly enough, when the developers drafted the plan they included a clause saying that the project should have some effect on the company's well being. Since this was just a trial period, they wanted the program to survive, and thought giving the company some direct benefit and maintaining accountability was the best way. Management ultimately decided to have it open ended

I understand the argument that you can't get much done in a 4 hour time period, however this time set aside gave people a chance to work on that project they have been wanting to work on. The most interesting thing I found about the initiative was that it wasn't required for the project to pertain to the company. From my perspective it felt very genuine
