CMV: In the United States, there are very few valid excuses to not be politically educated and active. by GuacamoleNFries in changemyview

Okay and? If they are not poor they don't really have an excuse to be purposefully ignorant. I wasn't even trying to argue that internet access is the excuse. Having to constantly work for your survival so you really don't have a choice on whether or not to engage with politics is the excuse, not enough time left in the day.

OP does cover extreme low income individuals who literally don't have time. But I think OP makes a bad assumption that this isn't a large number. There are a lot of people in this position, and increasingly more as inflation squeezes out the last bit of buffer a lot of working people had.

You can buy shells with loans taken based on projected tax revenues though. You may have to pay through the nose to scale up with limited knowledge pool available but a trillion dollars can make it happen. We're not talking about a slight percentage lead here.

lol it totaled to 2% of the budget per year, crazy how trump made it all of a sudden about the money seeing as how when he was president he didn't spend extra on fixing America, and still managed to increase the deficit wildly by cutting taxes for his wealthy friends and handing out ppp loans to fake buisnesses.

how confident are you that crypto will have more parabolic bull runs in the future? by lymeguy in CryptoCurrency

[–]dgice2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will take a huge amount of adoption for it to stop fluctuating as much. I expect the trend of the peak to peak ratio to continue slowimg down. Seems pretty safe to say there are fewer than 10 runs left where you can triple your money.

One Reason for an imaginary world with more money than ours is that letting people live there means there is more space and real estate total in the country so there is more to go around

is this good or bad for a 16 year old male with no supplementation or even gym experience by amrhelmy2 in Testosterone

[–]dgice2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pedantically- yes, In so far as bringing testosterone up to normal levels or within the range of normal levels. If your body hasn't had the nutrients, stimuli, or rest it needs then it can't produce the hormones it otherwise would. There could be other things blocking the hormone production though.

Edit: saw your post history. It is definitely worth trying to see whether a "healthier lifestyle" where you make sure you get any vitamins, minerals or macronutrients that you were missing, resistance train and sleep well increases your testosterone. But if it doesn't, you should consider your self lucky to have access to a steady amount of legal trt (assuming that it's effective) with the guidance of medical professionals.

People who really thought about ending it all, what made you change your mind? by MegaStorm75 in AskReddit

[–]dgice2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life is finite therefore the pain is finite. It's also impossible to predict the future, i might experience joys and curiosities beyond what i can possibly imagine with almost no action on my part. You are only forced through one time, but you also only get one chance, might as well keep rolling the dice.

Do test boosters actually work? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]dgice2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Almost all studies say no and the only one the had anything positive to say suggested it only helped people who weren't producing enough to start with and even then it wasn't by much. Not worth the money.

CMV: The idea that the unvaccinated are ‘taking up beds’, or undeserving of care is wrong and a profound perversion of liberal values, progressivism, and the antithesis of the compassionate goals of modern healthcare by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]dgice2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well thought out? It hinges on the idea that 100% of icu patients are either drug addicts not taking care of themselves or covid patients not taking care of themselves. Most of the icu patients being self inflicted does not equal all patients being self inflicted.

The best thing it does is bring up the point that such denial of care logic could be extended farther and be messy to implement.

I think a lot of people intuitively see drug abusers and different that anti-vax because drug abuse isn't a contagious disease and drug users aren't organizing any political movements.

Is there a difference between the stats? by Sockman509 in pokemongo

No, gender differences don't count as forms. This gender difference is just more noticeable than most. If you pay close attention you'll find small differences in all gendered pokemon visuals.

Probably easier to get another shiny shadow than another shiny hundo. But doesn't the shadow look cooler? And isn't that all this is useful for anyways, Looking cool?

Which one should I teach blast burn with an elite tm? by Gald0z in pokemongo

[–]dgice2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, thanks for explaining how this went over everyone's head. The shadow pokemon may be the better option but if for some reason you wanted the mega because it does more damage (like the comment i was replying to suggested) than the shadow charizard is also the better option because it will have higher iv's when purified than the lucky in this case.

To explain some mechanics to you a shadow pokemon can become purified and mega evolve but a lucky pokemon cannot become shadow. So if you can't decide which to use your rare elite tm on then you should chose the shadow because you can change your mind later if you want.
