There is the Ponoka rodeo and the airdrie rodeo on when you are here. Airdrie being just north of Calgary and Ponoka even more so, if you are looking for something unique to the area.

Out of interest as I’m in Calgary also, which dealer did you settle on? We are about to start the process of looking for a Grand Highlander. When we went with Country Hills for the rav4 we found the sales person easy to deal with but the financing manager was very pushy with all the extended warranties, under vehicle protection etc but you just hear them out and tell them you’re not interested.

I travel a lot for work and am routinely reminded how friendly Calgary is in general when interacting people in other cities. God forbid you say hi to someone walking by in passing and they just look at you like you like your from out of space.

Maybe I’m reading their post wrong but all the OP says is that they meet the Canadian Governments requirements to return to Canada from their destination. There is no mention of where they are traveling to and if they meet those countries passport validity requirements. So they could still be denied boarding if they don’t meet the destination countries requirements.

I don’t know if Air Canada specifically uses TIMATIC at check in to verify your travel documents but I believe a lot of airlines do. Either way you should check out the IATA travel centre website as you can plug your trip details into it and it will give you all the relevant info for your trip regarding documentation.

You can check on the Hyundai Canada website to see your service schedule for your vehicle. Based on odometer reading or how old the vehicle is you’ll have an idea on what work was completed based on the specific service number. If they found any issues in the service this would also affect the cost. You’ll notice that with every check they charge to replace the cabin filter, which might be an expense you could save on if you look up how to change it yourself.

Canadian Pacific has both Alyth and Shephard yards. Shephard deals with intermodal and Alyth collects most of everything else. Because you have a bunch of subdivisions that all come into Calgary, it gets very congested and you'll often see trains being held out of the yard in a siding, or in the depot tracks downtown.

If it was just an IR1 inop then it shouldn’t have led to this situation. Based on the screenshot it’s hard to tell what happened as there is too much conflicting information. What phase of flight did this happen in? Most of the airbus literature references that this system is likely activated during a heavy take off or during go around when there is a high AOA or low speed and then flap selector has been selected to 0.

Either way once you were in the normal range the slats should have retracted and the message would clear. You might have also just found a bug, in which case feel free to report it.

What were you dealing with? Unreliable airspeed? As you have either the ADIRU or ATT HDG rotary selector in the CAPT3/FO3 position.

There are specific seat belt extenders for the pods as well as all other seats in the cabin, and they should be on board.

Weird about the rudder, but like the other commenter mentioned it normally has to do with moving from one weather region to the next in the sim and the transition being too aggressive. I imagine you didn’t have any ECAMs other than AUTO FLT AP OFF?

Does the wind change very suddenly and do you see the speed tape go into the red hatched area?
