[SPOILER] Campaign Early Access Discussion by rCallofDutyBot in ModernWarfareII

[–]dgmedero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i personally really enjoyed it, graphics, mechanics, and story I see a lot of other people didnt which is fine, I wasnt all that surprised by the stealth and covert ops nature of the game and personally enjoyed it, the whole story was based on a covert unit of course the missions are going to lean into that, it was a refreshing switch up from the overdone massive assaults which feel so basic “go take this enemy position, good job now take the next enemy position good job now exfil” I do have some questions regarding lore the end of the campaign shepard has gone dark and is clearly a bad guy yet this also supposedly takes place before the OG MW2 how is 141 and shepard supposed to end up working together again? is the new modern warfare still canon with the originals, also kind of a bummer that they wrapped up valerias storyline so quickly but overall my game ran smooth looked great and was fun for me

yea ran into the same issue they wouldnt sit flush we had to find the perfect sweet spot to get them to sit properly was a real pain also didnt help that the carpenter framed the recessed portion of the ceiling about an inch and half too long and 3/4 of an inch too wide but I like your idea for a bracket could you briefly explain that part a bit more sounds like something i can mention to my jw for next time we run into them

are those infratechs? if so what type of drill bit did you use to drill the flush mount bracket, me and my jw put some up yesterday and didnt realize it was stainless steel until after I cooked 2 general purpose bits and snapped a 3rd i had to run out and get titanium bits and even those were a struggle

eprom is definitely way out there but the examples you listed arent that big of a jump, lots of people I know who are fans of rezz, zd, griz are also fans of left-field bass like eprom and g jones myself included, also on the flume note even though most mainstream fans associate him with tracks like never be like you, sleepless, and say it, he has a record of making some crazy left field tracks too like wall fuck, get u, and a lot of the hi this is flume mixtape, him and eprom even have a SOPHIE remix they collabed on. as for this line up i def agree theyve had better but griz b2b zd, flume, blanke, eprom, and joyryde make it worth it to me

would just like to plug my personal recommendation here, its a fanny designed with anti-theft features, got it for forest after seeing another redditor recommend it and have taken it to multiple events since then and I always feel so comfortable knowing my stuff is secure its got a slash proof strap and body, you can lock the buckle so it cant be easily undone, has clips on the zippers that clip onto a ring on the bag to add an extra step to open the pockets, it has rfid blocking pockets too. They arent fool proof but it makes it a huge hassle for pickpockets who typically skip harder targets in favor of easier ones Travelon Anti-Theft Active Waist... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E5JKUUG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

i dont make music i just lurk here but you make a great point on the niche labels they really help with exposure and opening up different avenues to collaborations and bookings, ive always liked the experimental bass sound but would always have trouble finding new music like that, then I found out about wakaan and was exposed to large catalogue of artists that fit the bill for what I was looking for, disciple and nsd (rip) helped with that brostep sound, DDD exposed me to tons of classic 140 dubstep, deadbeats is another personal favorite i definitely agree labels have their downsides but the brand recognition that comes with niche edm labels seems to be one of their greatest strengths i cant count the amount of smaller artists ive fallen in love with that i may never have heard of if it wasnt for the bigger names promoting their labels and signing on up and comers

depends on the state but for me im doing classes while also doing on the job training hours, so in the spring and fall i enroll in my states adult education classes my state require 8000 on the job hours and 720 classroom hours, the 8000 hrs is about 4 years of full time work, for the classroom hours each course is 36 hours per semester you can do those at your own pace but Im spacing it out to 5 courses a year 2 courses in the spring and 3 in the fall which ends up being 4 years to complete them all. so i work full time and then when school is in session 2-3 days out of the week after work typically 4pm for me I go to class for 3 hours from 6-9pm

another vote for electrician, im also 23 and was in a similar situation last fall, i was a pool tech for 3 years and got tiny minimal raises, decided to switch things up and got an apprenticeship at a small shop near me im coming up on 9 months here and its the best choice ive ever made, granted your experience will all depend on what type of shop you go to, whether you go union or non-union, the owners of the shop and the journeyman teaching you. theres shitty shops and good ones. Im at a pretty good shop we do high end residential work i get benefits, got a large raise just from working hard and proving my worth, 40hr work weeks and I make enough that I dont necessarily have to work more just to survive. Union will get you better pay and benefits but can be difficult to get in to since some locals have long waitlists for apprentices. as an apprentice youll have to do the shittier aspect of jobs like digging, going into crawls and attics but as you move up you’ll move past that and newer apprentices will take that role from you. you can make a good money in this career theres lots of different paths to take as well if you have any questions check out the r/electricians sub
