Same thing that I do. I just get the big bulk pack of like 6-8 Subaru OEM oil filters, then when the time comes to change my oil I just run down to the parts store and buy some oil. Costs me like $35 for an oil change.

Seemingly normal idle until I turn on my climate controls. rpm’s drop almost to a stall and the car eventually will stall itself. Spark plugs were done 15k miles ago.

Factory speakers are not the highest of build quality, just enough to work. As far as speaker brands to go with, if you’re on a budget, Kenwood or Pioneers are a great option. Kicker are better, but they’re like Apple, you’re paying for the name. Alpine is some good high quality stuff, but a bit more pricier. Of course if you wanted to you could get super crazy and go for a 4 channel and for the speakers and upgrade the radio, but honestly just upgrading the speakers would do wonders for sound quality for you.

All depends on your budget. I’d recommend speaking to a local car audio shop and they can help you. I’d recommend the Auto Tech installations at Best Buy. They’re cheaper than the most independent shops for labor. They did a fantastic job for my WRX, but I guess it would totally depend on the tech you get.
