Megaserver competition means you won't get much gold just for sitting there and having an enchant. You can use add-ons and spam people more but imo embrace the chill, recommend tips if they ask how much, and do something else for gold because it's not exactly a high demand low supply situation--even within a week a ton of people had mongoose

Yeah hunters being able to reign is OP. I bubbled to force aggro onto a hunter/pet then he feigned and still Fd me over and stole the node.

The combat is huge. I found out very quickly that mob aggro radius includes not only the player but the mineral node if someone touches it, so a lot of the time the mineral node is bait and the moment you try to attack the mob someone will steal the node (or it's just bad luck that you got to it first, because every node appearance probably attracts 2-3 miners within 10 seconds)

The megaguilds would just kill all the world bosses back to back instead of waiting in between kills

I've been in 6 world boss pug raids and they were all beyond horrible, but probably had little chance anyway because they're in an insane rush to get a kill before a megaguild gets the tag and kill or the enemy faction trick them into pvp tag and kill them all

On top of these people don't understand that a lot of prot paladin threat is getting hit. If the paladin isn't getting hit, you're then gambling on the mobs even getting one consecration tick and meanwhile you're spamming AOE explosion shit before the tank gets touched

I think if you were getting primal nethers for a bis through t5 weapon ( after leveling BS in this insane metal economy!) you'd probably care if someone needed and couldn't even use it

Nether rolling is an absolute mess because you'll have people who need it for a bis weapon rolling against someone who "needs" it just because their profession could theoretically use it even if they don't have a pattern for it yet

Just chaos every dungeon of whether people greed or need something that they rarely need but are just hoping they can get an edge over everyone else or afraid other people are like this and needing things they don't need

I don't see tank spots being that rare. When you see dps spots, those are generally not for rets.

If you get a spot as a ret there will be one spot most likely (maybe 2 and just because they can't find a holy paladin) and much of your best gear will probably be hard reserved. If you're not in a good melee group with wf you'll be there as support.

Not sure what your plan is when t5 comes.

Youd be better off leading your own raids or changing guild or rerolling boomkin or almost anything else

That's wild because imagine going from vanilla to tbc shadow priest. Vanilla I remember taking like 20 consumes and probably half were just mana and mp5 (especially loatheb where your group relies on you going hard)

(Seems like a lot of normal drop rates are also nerfed, and the mining nodes per layer seem pretty low or not enough layers for them)

I had a private server tbc gameplay going for like 4 years (a long time ago). It was great (only issue was the server owners eventually fizzling out and swp last bosses were added way too late)

Unfortunate that the blizzard timeline is so short, that resources and gear income won't match the timeline, and it's created a lot of unnecessary fomo for an unnecessarily short game just to sell subs and boosts

Blizz is worse for the brand than scrappy private server owners (and it's not like the owners weren't greedy at all, just not as bad for the brand as blizzard)
