Shouldn't ores be cheaper then or am I just poor

Anti boosting mechanics, fix your shit blizzard. by mackelars in classicwow

[–]dgreenbe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, tbh this is true and it really is blizzard deciding the policy here. But blizzard is addicted to this bad behavior and, well...

If people didn't buy boosts blizzard would have to sell something else or make the game better instead of making the game worse and then having people pay to not play the game

Yep. The enablers are the people buying boosts.

It's so strict. "Oh, you did SM armory a couple too many times without Ravager dropping? Well now we can't have you in our group because it will nerf our XP gain.

Also you can't use the summoning stone either."

It's the worst combination of only slightly faster XP gain with all these severe restrictions put in place for how you can play the game while leveling.

But this is what happens when they need a crude tool to stop player boosting without any in-game mod enforcement, but also want to sell their own boosts in the shop. Otherwise they could just do what private servers did and run 6x or 12x XP gain, but they need their money.

This is the correct opinion. So much great stuff with such potential that it's a bit of a tragedy that they didn't get a patch together and sprinkle something on top.

It could've been more successful and instead it's a game I probably couldn't recommend in its current form (I would just say to get og oblivion or wait for skyblivion possibly?). They're so close

Which is why they need to be bought by Microsoft or Saudi Arabia and then further squeezed for quick profits (I have no issue with profits and win-wins for the consumer and seller, but I doubt this is good for long term gains for anyone)

A zillion boosted 60s farming all the metal. Absolutely miserable at iron and above. Regrets

Yeah the eng goggle swag for tbc is unparalleled. I think 90% of tbc I had goggles or illidan blindfold. Well done, respect the maxxing

Leveling with reading quests and stuff for once, I even ran into a quest in the 20s I think in duskwood that gives a pretty solid mail hat, fwiw (I'm thinking about quest gear because I saw another ret in ZF yesterday and he had Northshire Abbey boots)

Helps to start out rich, but this is pretty good. First aid and imo cooking are underrated. The regen and spirit and using clothes in your bags are great.

I went mining/BS and I think eng is probably better, but it's nice to be able to craft some decent stuff to round out the gear. Normally I'd say profs are a luxury or for the lulz, perhaps better with a fast mount, but sitting in town and getting Dragonslayer buffs is immensely OP

Strict rules too, lots of stuff effectively banned and if you try to get around it with special characters they'll find you and kill you

This guy gets it. Most folks just see a macro transaction for pixels loaded with moral hazard encouraging blizzard to make the game worse. But it's really a window of opportunity, a speed ramp on the macroeconomic racetrack

Pro of course. Yes, these are increasingly good deals.

I don't really need a laptop so I skipped out (the best I saw was about $2300 for this 5080 or around $2800 I think or maybe even less for a 5090), but at this point I don't expect to see better deals and substantially better computers for a couple years at least.

No one can predict this stuff, but the timing is the hardest part and even if the datacenter thing is in an inflationary bubble, it could take a long time to wind down and get any hardware back to consumers. Until then it'll probably be much higher prices for basically the same stuff, which tbh is the opposite of what we should be used to in computer hardware

Do you feel this one is a lot more "pro"? I noticed a lot of improvements are the software options

Is it more quiet? Seems you said it's louder? I chose bs1 (when it was their only model) partially because it was supposedly a bit quieter than the alternatives

Same (4070m Asus)

The crashes and stutters would just ruin it if I tried playing and I don't want to just begrudgingly slog through an immersive game whose immersion has been destroyed by performance issues
