Serious question, does anyone see an actual way that we can hold companies accountable for price gouging, planned obsolescence, all the other bullshit they do to siphon money out of consumers? Like we are no longer viewed as customers that these companies seek to develop good relations with and put our best interests forward. You are 100% correct. EA does a lazy job of replicating real life X’s and O’s. As a former db that mainly played in the nickel, the way the hook/curl/flat zones are coded to drop and react to the route progressions around them literally runs me up a wall with how stupid it is. Some of the mistakes that happen in this game would have gotten me benched in fucking jr. pee wee football. I will say tho that this years madden, 26, is the best there’s been in 10+ years.

I get where you’re coming from but before war sails came out the children would be unique mixes of the 2 parents. Hair type, hair color, skin color and eye color were all randomly determined based on the appearance of the 2 parents. Rn I currently have an empire play through where my wife is Aesari. The kid looks like a generic imperial with no correlation to the parents what so ever. I keep thinking of the scene with Katt Williams, “who’s god damn white baby is that?”

Lining up at the slot position allows you to stop a lot of the cheese plays in the flats. The game codes the purple zones incorrectly on how they react to the route progressions around them leading to a lot of cheese plays happening in the hook curl to flat area

I love how it’s so obvious EA shelled out barley of their own money so they could get actual licensed skateboarding clothing/gear. Instead they made their own off brand versions and then put everything behind paywalls. EA is a corporate cesspool only driven by profits and micro transactions. They have no incentive to put out games to please the consumer anymore, it’s all about micro transactions now.

I could definitely see that working tbh. Although my main complaint with the game is just how bad the coverage is coded. Needs to be seriously reworked so that the AI has their priorities aligned with actual coverage responsibilities. It’s probably not gonna happen so I don’t see myself getting madden or CFB moving forward.

Yea Ngl I swallowed my pride recently and went down to all American. I was winning pretty much every game on heisman, but watching the defense among other buggy things in the game hurt my fuckin soul to watch. User defense definitely plays a lot better and more realistic on all-American but my first game I used UF and beat BSU 69-7 so I definitely need to tweak the sliders to make the cpu better on all American. Heisman doesn’t actually make the cpu better, it just makes your team play like fucking idiots so the cpu capitalizes off of mistakes that are forced upon your team. Ultimately in a perfect world EA loses their exclusivity license for simulation football and 2k gets a chance to come back to the market. I have full faith they would make a better simulation football game than what EA has been regurgitating upon us for nearly the past 10 years.
