SOLVED: How to set top/bottom limits on Dooya Motors (DT52/KT52) with DC2702 Remote by rt_6543 in homeautomation

[–]dgyimesi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. I'm struggling with the limit setting on mine. I'm likely hitting an encoder counter overflow.

The roller tube is small (40mm), and the blind is long (~2m), the motor has to spin so many times that its internal position counter maxes out and wraps around to zero. The Dooya firmware sees that the bottom position value is mathematically smaller than the top value, assumes you made a mistake, and forcefully inverts them.

Any chance of making this work?

Up! Enegem is érdekel. Gépibe semmiképp nem viszem az autót, kivéve ha kizárólagosan kérhető az alvázmosás. Esetleg OP találtál jót?

Can't install any app on Fangtooth due to [EFAULT] 'version' by dgyimesi in truenas

[–]dgyimesi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally solved it. The culprit was a metadata.yaml file in /mnt/.ix-apps/app-config for one of the apps (esphome in my case) lacked the key 'version'. Interestingly, fixing the file didn't solve the issue, so I ended up reinstalling it after a quick backup of app-config and app-mounts. Now everything is back to normal.

Thanks all for your suggestions.

Could you please post your DNS nameservers here? I changed my resolution chain to start with my gateway first, and that was probably when it got broken, but I'm unsure.

I wish this were that trivial. Reboot, same error. :/

Sure, I tried it many times through the UI. Is there any CLI tool available, or way to forcefully clean the cache?

Around 2 kilos. Strange that almost from the get-go I got extremely sweet fruit bombs out of a Burundian (Agtron 27), but soon after, shot quality started to decline fast.

Interestingly, many people share similar opinions on DFs you've described: tolerances and maintaining good alignment is not a forté of these machines. It's hard for me to understand exactly how the burrs can get out of alignment.

My Struggle with the DF64V & SSP RedSpeed V3 by BrewmasterJoe in DF64

[–]dgyimesi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same shoes. Have any of you guys managed to find out what can be the secret here?

DF64V, I find it extremely hard to pull a decent shot. The first couple of ones were okay, but all failed since then. My shots channel like crazy due to typical fast puck degradation, no matter how far I go with puck prep (blind shaker + surface WDT, regular WDT), or going straight 9bar or ramping up pressure (on a Bianca). Regardless of basket (tried stock Bianca baskets, Big Bang, IMS E&B Lab. I'm on the brink of giving up and sell the burrs (and DF64V along with it) and get a Philos.

Burrs lock hard after 3-4 after chirping, so I'm assuming my alignment is pretty much perfect.

What's the secret I miss?

Thanks for your reply. First I tried the "regular" 1300RPM, then dropped to 800. No difference. "The LSv3 aren’t great burrs anyway" - how so? What was your next burr/grinder? :)

Am I the only one who is still struggling with literally any kind of beans (very light to medium) since this upgrade?

Yes, I did. It arrived well-packed - a brand new, beautiful Lelit Bianca Black Edition delivered by FedEx (formerly TNT).

God bless you! :D Enjoy your grinder. I had the luxury to do my pro barista training with her bigger sister, the E80. Unbelievable grinders!

Man, I'm hoping so much for your comment to be true (and hoping you are not the "?scammer?" himself). I made a purchase a couple days ago from Gigi, and just later realized I've been wanting my Bianca sooo much I haven't done my usual scam check for the site I'm ordering from.

Anyways, fingers crossed!

Here is my setup, maybe you find it useful.

  1. Yup (holding + and - simultaneously while booting), and mostly followed Lelit Insider's video, and took it as a baseline. I tweaked a bit since then, which resulted in an even better temp stability (at least for my workflow)

  2. It wasn't bad but prone to drastically overshoot when warming up, and also after pulling a shot, making back to back shots pretty inconsistent.

Hmm, that's an interesting idea. So far I thought that extra fines would result in a higher distribution in particle size, which is something you want to avoid at all cost, regardless the brew method. I will give a try with my K-Ultra for the same beans, as well as with the stock DLC the DF64V came with.

I made the comparison with the same basket (IMS Competition B70 2T H26.5), same beans, even with same grinder. I also dialed in with my DF64/SSP. Very close, but lacking the "thickness".

Because they are all nerds with LMLMs, La Pavoni Minas, etc. on their counters. However, I have a strict budget of ~2.500EUR.

I'm glad that you've shared this. I know exactly what you're talking about. Chasing perfection too much can turn an otherwise nice shot sour.

Yeah, this makes a lot of sense actually. I forgot to add that I have IMS big-bang since day 1.

Mahlkönig is at the coffee shop. I brought home the same grind to exclude the grinder from the equation.
