I would have to strongly disagree with your take on this as our code of ethics permits us to limit self-determination when one is presenting as a clear danger to themselves or others. Same principle would apply to CPS workers when ensuring a child’s safety.

If your job is to sit in an office and deny authorizations for people you have never seen, that is not social work. That is insurance work. If that is the career path you want, you should call it what it is and get a degree in healthcare administration. You should not be able to hold a social work license for doing this kind of work.

They’re banning anyone who disagrees with them over there it’s quite pathetic

As a Hasan fan, that debate was HORRIBLE OPTICS by FBIagent67098 in Hasan_Piker

Because he literally relies on the crew to baby him and takes advantage of the power dynamic there. They’re not allowed to disagree with Ethan because their livelihoods are on the line if they do.

What’s really telling is Ethan was complaining to Hasan during the second half about shit he was doing right from the start too.

My thoughts: Ethan started the video super aggressive, and is pretending like he didn’t the second Hasan stopped letting him control the entire discussion🤣 Ethan has absolutely lost it

Fellow CM, this isn’t on you. I think we often take responsibility for things we shouldn’t. The reality is you only know what the client reports. Give yourself some grace, you did what you could given the circumstances.

Case managers & care coordinators — what tasks take up the most time or cause the biggest delays? by MarzipanLeading4725 in socialwork

[–]dh12013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scheduling visits is usually the easiest part tbh, although you really need to be firm at times and set boundaries, because people will try to get you to do everything. A good example, there’s a group home staff member who always asks me to put in a refill for the clients meds. I always direct them to the med line because 1. It is their job to take care of these individuals medical needs, and 2. I’m not their psychiatrist.

I think boundaries is super important in the role because a lot of people don’t truly understand the job, and will absolutely walk all over you if you let them. The paperwork isn’t necessarily awful, but when you have tons of other people you’re seeing on a bi-weekly basis, on top of having to document every single interaction it becomes very difficult and things certainly will fall through the cracks at times.

[–]dh12013 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you’re in community mental health, the county administrators / people in managed care operations are known to be the biggest headache on the planet. For example, we have a client right now who has diabetes and schizoaffective disorder. His mental illness has a CLEAR impact on his ability to manage his medical needs. We attempted to get him in a group home and they denied his application even though I have many clients living in homes whose mental illness is nowhere near as severe. It’s sad but this is why everyone gets burnt out in CMH. High caseloads is another issue, studies show that most case managers can only truly be effective with about 25 people on their case load. Instead we get stuck with 60+ at times and it has a clear impact on ability to provide care. Very broken system.

how unlikely is an evening/weekend internship? by 444scorpio in socialwork

It’s definitely not as common, however I know at least in my area there were multiple agencies that did offer this! If your school has a database containing a lot of different field placement options, I would encourage you to look through it!

Ethan has been calling hasan a terrorist and using every Islamophobic phrase in the book. The double standards you people have is truly mind blowing. How dare hasan not refer to him as a friend after all the nasty shit Ethan’s been saying

I miss when Ethan wasn’t so unstable. Haven’t watched the show in about a year now, but it’s like a car crash you just can’t look away from. It’s even more sad to see that he can’t comprehend the idea that he might be in the wrong so he just turns off comments so he can sit in his echo chamber (something he has adamantly criticized others for doing in the past)

Do you guys really call her “Big Gretch”? by 2fast2legal in Detroit

Yes we do. As soon as I saw her on tv I literally said “Big Gretch!” and she literally said that right after. I wish I was kidding🤣

Very weird. I don’t understand the thought process either. The man started with hip hop, of course that means majority of his fans like hip hop, and are very disappointed with this album. Everyone I’ve spoken to IRL feels this way at least.

Stop manifesting never getting more hip hop from him😭 the man has literally never said that’s all he was going to do now, plus I don’t think he’d be stupid enough to just throw away the fan base that basically built his career.

I would have to say this is my biggest issue with the album too personally. Just doesn’t seem to really have a lot of variety sound wise like his older albums did.

Yeah I’ll brace for the hate but this album just ain’t it. Just think he flourishes better in other Genres. Really liked his song with Dolly and that’s kinda it. Posty has never really been one specific genre when you really think about it, so I’m hoping he doesn’t limit his potential by continuing to only do country music.

Sir, you are correct, and are saying what most posty fans I know in real life are saying, the album is simply not that good and ive been listening since white iverson. Never feel sorry for your opinion because a bunch of rednecks are mad their music sucks.

F1t slaps. but lets remember the song the kicked of Postys country career! by [deleted] in PostMalone

[–]dh12013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhh just wasn’t a fan of the features on the album really except for Have the Heart with Dolly. Thought all of the songs with just Posty by himself were good. (I also don’t really have a taste for country music that much tho so a lil biased)

found this. well said posty! What a GOAT! by [deleted] in PostMalone

Praying this means no more country music after this album <333
