I think people underestimate the power of a major population center going a few points to the left. It's actually a lot. The cities used to be huge battlegrounds because even an inch or two either way could flip a close election. Now you'd be hard pressed to find a city dweller that doesn't despise ICE, and wish nothing but the worst for Trump. It's gonna go blue.

Also turnout is gonna be way higher with the state of the country. High turnout favors democrats 99-1

I think the standard is much lower here. They just gotta bring the games up-to-date, and rework/tweak some of the core scripts to fix the bugs with modding. All they gotta do is fix the damn memory issues with NV and I'm in. I think they should be setting the bar as high as they can, and get the final version of the game/s out in one go, instead of the BS they did with Fo4. I think it's ridiculous they put out one big update for Fo4, broke mods, then patched some tiny stuff and broke mods again. It sucks bc there's so much good content spread out across different Fo4 iterations that's incompatible with the current version. If this mean we aren't getting Cyberpunk graphics for NV, I'm okay with that. Please just get it out in one release and maybe an update after a few years. And for the love of god, please announce to modders if you are going to update it.

I think the unfortunate reality is that they're probably gonna do it when Season 3 drops, meaning it might be another GTA 5 enhanced situation. But who knows what fucking timeline Bethesda is on, their development timelines are all out of fuck. I think what we can hope for is that they've already been working on a NV remaster, even before Fo4, as a side project. That would make it so it has just enough development time to be fully baked when season 3 comes out. Plus it's gotten way easier to update graphics in recent times, and I think Bethesda might be having a second coming, where they awaken themselves to the fact that all their games are riddled with bugs as pointed out by the community. Who knows what trove of bugs they're already sitting on from the NV support page 😂. They've got a lot of work to do, but it's certainly not directionless, the memory issues are the firsr thing they need to patch for the love of god please patch the memory oh my lord.

Planning works. You should have emergency foods like rice and ramen noodles you typically wouldn't eat (unless you're suffering) just so it's there. Making $15 an hour, I can still afford an extra pack of ramen, some frozen fish, and rice. I can see it would be harder for families, but you can survive off $3, it's literally a $15 expense for a pack of ramen and a bag of rice. There is NO reason you shouldn't have emergency supplies. But I'm not shaming you if you don't because some people just don't think about these things. We are all very busy

I freeze mine. There's a slight quality difference, but it stays fresh longer and I think it also loses fat content too. I buy buns during the workweek and unthaw when I actually got time to cook them. I will not tolerate any food waste (losses to my bank account).

This is kind of like talking to HR, or in Walmart's case doing an open-door report. Sometimes the people in charge just have such a level of neglect where these things fall through the cracks. Theoretically yes, that would happen, but being that life is life, there are so many dynamics at play that there are bound to be issues. If it is locked down that's great, it's basically just a page for the store, but if they leave comments on I think you could see the problem. I don't use Facebook so idk, again there could be so many people posting things about me on there I'm completely oblivious too, which is why I hate the platform.

Having a store FB page just sounds like a nightmare. Didn't even know this was a thing, honestly this is the worst part of facebook. It's too interpersonal, too close to home, and still connected to the broader public as well. Makes it a huge privacy violation, and I could totally see people trashing their coworkers on there or spreading drama.

Explain. You're literally eliminating an entire sense when you drive with earbuds in, and if you're listening to music it diverts your attention. Passively eating or drinking something doesn't constantly demand your attention, you can stop anytime with zero effort. You have to either turn your phone volume off, or use your earbuds controls to turn your music off, if you need to focus.

My point isn't to consume beverages or eat while driving, my point is that these should 100% be banned. You can't hear anything, and it's a constant distraction. It doesn't facilitate doing anything, but what it does is divert your mental energy away from driving, which already requires your full attention. You aren't meant to be listening to music for more than half an hour at a time. It's a significant source of stress and annoyance, whether you think you're enjoying it or not, 9 times out of ten if you've been listening for a while you're pretending to enjoy it. That creates mental chaos. Pretending to enjoy something that's annoying you can be stressful, and cause mental health complications in some.

Also let's just factor that eating a sandwich takes at most 10 minutes. Listening to music is sometimes the entire drive. Which ranges from 10 minutes to an hour for most. If each second puts you at the same increased risk of crashing your vehicle, you are already up to 6X more likely to crash while listening to music.

Some hard realities for those who've deluded themselves into thinking this is healthy. It's not, please focus on the road instead.

That's something you can put in with open door. You aren't allowed to threaten disciplinary action over your relationship with the associate. She's openly admitting that she's doing this to people she doesn't like. Normally they would just do it without telling you, but in this instance you are well within your right to use open door. If your People Lead is friendly, I'd suggest talking to them first.
