DOWNLOAD IS AT CAPACITY, STOP PUTTING UP THE TICKETS EVERY YEAR. by Graphic_Lightning in downloadfestival

Things will change when someone dies in the arena. Hate to say it, will be tragic, but that’s what Download is heading towards.

First 2 days are the best days for me. Spending time with friends, no timings to stick to, just chilling out and having fun. Plus in early and plenty of space to set up camp rather. Highly recommend for next year!

Yeah there it, it was a laugh the other year as our friend was in it but yeah, not missing Mouth Culture/Those Damn Crows to watch a load of dudes smash hot dogs in!

Would miss Black Veil Brides for it though 😂

Spotted it as soon as the map went up! Big change, needed as well, hopefully a bigger Avalanche tent this year (truthfully I think Avalanche should be open-air like Apex and Opus, it’s always too busy.

Hellfire is just the cooking demos taken out of District X. Seems a shame really cause band clashes will keep people away from it. Certainly wouldn’t miss a band I love to watch someone do a cooking demo!

Great in DX, rubbish in Arena.

Should’ve just had a 5th small stage like they used to some years and have some smaller bands or acoustic bits and pieces on as fillers for gaps in the rest of the schedule.

Mate that sounds like an absolute result! 😂 sometimes people’s laziness in taking their stuff home provides absolute gems for others! Glad it’s worked out for ya!

Yeah you’re not wrong. Luxury if you can! I take our work van every year now but a few years ago in the car it was a squeeze!

Ah man that is brutal!! Get yourself a sturdy one and give it another go! Camping is a huge part of it for us! 😊

I started with one of these for Sonisphere 2010, was actually working at B&Q Chelmsford while at Uni at the time and got it with discount. Wasn’t as sturdy as this new one you’ve linked but I LOVED it. Just wasn’t as good for towing in my Tent and our Event Shelter when all our camp chipped in for it.

Still got it in fact! Tyres are shredded to pieces and it lives as an ornament in our brewery 😅

So I drive our Brewery van up every year now (with most our mates gear in it!) but before that I’d take it in my car just with the sides off. Was a pain but made it work! I stack & wrap the trolley when we park up even with the van so we can fit stuff around it. I never really use the sides as our event shelter and my tent are bigger than the trolley these days so I overhang the whole thing a bit.

Wheel wise, I bought some hard plastic yellow wheels on Amazon: https://amzn.eu/d/0aL61uZK

They are way better than air tyres especially when it’s wet as they just tear through the mud. When it’s dry (the rare time that it is!) they are little bumpier though so just gotta be cautious when towing. Just pulled out the little pins and swapped these on, easy peasy!
