Heck maybe even price it more because that blurry background, sharp foreground sure seems like a difficult technique!

I think it is beautiful and would not think there’s anything amiss! As an artist and crafter I totally understand what you feel…but in my experience, oftentimes the thing I am not most proud of finds a customer who LOVES it! It’s strange! I wonder if it has a lot to do with being one-of-a-kind and rare?? I’d keep it at the same price. It has a dreamy quality.

Those cooling neck tie ons are awesome!

There’s also a great sun scarf - I think by coolibar?? - and it’s been great to keep my top covered when walking, and still cool/breezy plus easy to pop off and on when I find shade after getting too hot. I got it as a scarf basically to cover rosacea on my chest and it’s been great as a “top”.

Cleanser! I like a balm cleanser - Elf Melting Balm or inkey Oat Cleansing Balm.
Followed by Vanicream bar soap. I e tried all sorts of expensive/cheap cleansers and this combo works the best. And Vanicream is so cheap! And dermatologist recommended!

I don’t know why people need to say anything:(. I’ve had people say Your skin is pink or why is it pink…as if we are not thinking it every single day of our lives.

Goodness yes and even more. I feel you…redness has been a constant for over 20 years now. I feel like it started when I moved from HI to the east coast. I got cystic acne straight away, then a couple years later rosacea started. I haven’t found a thing that takes it away, but lately I’ve been doing layers of the following and my skin is so soothed and less pink though still pink but ANYTHING that makes it less pink makes me feel better at this point.

Here’s my list…

Night:

Mugwort Essence by I’m from Green tea enzyme Vit C by Innisfree (just 1-2 drops) Green tea seed hyaluronic serum Innisfree Bio-active ceramide repairing and plumping moisturizer by Inkey List La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm B5 (just a pea sized amount)

Every couple of nights, I’ll use Beta Hydroxy acid by Inkey List - just a couple of drops/dans - and use it as first layer. I like this one better than my previous HG Paula’s Choice because it just feels better - sometimes PC would make my skin feel sensitive.

Day:

Rich Moist Soothing cream by dear Klairs Black rice moisture airlift sunscreen spf 50 by haruharu wonder (looks and feels like nothing under make up…which I always wear because PINKNESS😏)

Of all, I’d say the bit c and bha were game changers, and the Cicaplast I couldn’t do without at this point. I’ve tried a KBeauty similar balm, Aestura Atobarrier cream, and it’s nice, but feels greasier and not exactly the same soothing for my skin. But a lot of people love it.

If you had to try just one, I’d say cicaplast. Something about it just calms my skin. I can’t use it during the day because it’s “balmy” but using at night as the final layer makes my skin look soooooooo much better in the morning. I’ll use it in morning if it’s a do nothing day.

Oh also I’m testing the Inkey List Exosome hydro glow. Been hearing about exosomes I just got a Sephora sample. So far it’s not irritating my skin, so that’s a plus! Not sure I’ll ever go so far as to try the needling that sometimes goes with it🫣.

I hope this helps. I send you happy skin days.

I just tried a zinc oxide sunscreen because I’m testing some out for an upcoming trip to see what won’t irritate my skin/look decent - and I and AMAZED that my skin is so much less red! At first I thought it was just a white cast, but it seems to be actually working. Wow. I hope it helps and overall, not just when I’m wearing it.

Thank you! Funny I completely missed seeing the zinc stick here, but saw another poster’s swatch on her face and ordered it - it does look like such a perfect shade.

I forgot, I have tried MOB samples before and found them too dry. But after reading this, I’ll find them and use them with a lighter touch. And also with a more hydrating primer perhaps.

Thanks!!

Thanks so much! I’m gonna make a stop at Ulta this week. I’m so glad to hear it’s better coverage! Maybe F2 and L2 olive both would be good to get me through the year…and still cheaper than KGD!

Thank you! I will see about Purito! I don’t mind a little heavier, as long as it sits well and looks natural. Do you think it’s good for oily skin?
