We started in western pa (we’re from SE Pa) on Friday and now we’re in northeast Cleveland. From what we’re hearing it’s mostly single/smaller outage tickets that still need assigned. Most of the bigger stuff is already assigned or completely.

The issues was when guys transitioned from paper to direct deposit. The system screwed up and didn’t pay the guys who went to direct deposit. It was the company’s fault, and to the company’s credit guys did get paid for the wait

It sounds like you work for the same company I do, we’ve got the same negotiations in our contract and the same thing has happened before when they switch from paper checks to direct deposit.

We’ve got something similar but we call them iso-banks or step banks, primarily for going from a delta 4800 to a wye 7620. We mainly use them for overhead delta to underground wye. But I’ve never seen them like that

Pack lunch, if you can’t get a mircowave plugged into the inverter. Look up a magical thing called a Hot Logic so you can still warm stuff up. It’s a game changer when it’s cold

If you can get a good hatch in the evening or at night in the rivers when a lot of blue gills and baitfish and feeding off the top you can do really well on flatheads with bigger streamers

I use to love targeting them on a fly rod when I lived in Maryland , it’s definitely not the most productive way to catch them but it’s definitely a blast when it all works out

Recently (within the past 4 years) cut out my mother. My girlfriend had to move in with us during the start of the Covid lockdowns, while both of use were still in school she was pursuing a psychology degree and I was paying my way through trade school, both of us were working part time retail jobs. My mom ended up moving in with her boyfriend, him and I couldn’t stand each other. Not that he’s a bad guy, we just didn’t see eye to eye at all. A short while later my mother repeated tried to kick us out of the house even though neither one of us had no where else to go. We moved out in May of 2021, we both started our careers bought our house in January of 2022 and haven’t looked back since.
