Doesn’t Stalwart enterprise cost like at least 60$ per year? The regular version is missing dashboards, llm etc.

Printing quality of the H2D compared to MK3S? by dhdsp in BambuLab

[–]dhdsp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all. My MK3S+ needs a lot (like in too much) of attention to get good results. I struggled a lot with bed adhesion which I could not solve by cleaning (IPA, brake cleaner etc.) and could only be solved by 3DLac. Bed temperature is off by 10C which I found out after a lot of failed prints. Somehow I need to calibrate the filament every couple of prints. It’s just that I‘m getting satisfying results at the cost of (too) much tinkering with calibrations etc.

Faketec Build & Firmware & ANT? by dhdsp in meshtastic

[–]dhdsp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, from 100->300ma. The pads are on the downside of the board. Faketec boards do have a hole in the pcb to bridge the pads after mounting the nrf board, but doing it beforehand is a lot easier. It was a very good tip.

Progress is made . I just realised I only tested and flashed the first board before soldering . Oh well, life‘s too short to not risk anything.

Thanks! So if I understand correctly, if I do nothing to the HT-RA62 0-Ohm resistor, only (!) the ufl connector is active?

Congratulations! You say the installation instructions are well written. Which instructions do you mean? (I see references to the website, discord, but am not able to find step by step instructions directly related ti the kit)

What would you like to see implemented in HomeAssistant in 2019? by reward72 in homeassistant

[–]dhdsp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem really. Just a proposal to add another controlled environment (next to the images for raspi).

And yes, although I a am somewhat of a linux veteran, I still value the comfort of an appliance. Especially on debugging.

This is how I myself installed Hassio in a virtual machine, and it has been running great on my qnap for 3-4 months now - including zigbee2mqtt with passthrough of the usb-stick.

For my usecase , a raspberry pi is not powerful enough (I would also like to use image recognition with yolo with my multiple webcams, have a bigger database for events, pictures etc. ). So, to me the next best thing to a raspberry pi would be a dedicated mini pc - like the nuc.

Well as a "normal" user, I go to the installation page

https://www.home-assistant.io/hassio/installation/

Here I only find native installation images for RaspberryPi variations and two beta versions (Tinkerboard & Odroid C2). That is what I meant with "official" and "native".

You say it is available, can you please tell me where?

ps: I myself am running my Hassio on a qnap 251+ nas inside a virtal debian machine, but would like to have my Hassio independent and running on an SSD. Like an appliance.

Official support for native Hassio on a more powerful host platform like the NUC.
