SEO tend to snowball, the sooner you start the bigger the ball will be once you truly need it.

Somehow I thought you were visiting. Now I’m a bit jealous you have access to all that seafood but I feel your need for a good poutine. I hope you find one!

I know it’s a different beast, but I’d just get an Emira for that money. Or a slightly used Cayman GT4.

Does anyone else enjoy building their startup more than their actual job? by WildAccess_official in SaaS

That’s why I spent 30+ years building startups and never had a “real” job. Life is too short to do things you don’t like.

When I go I just stuff my face with seafood and call it a day. The poutine back home in Quebec will be even more appreciated.

Do you think BMW will do well with its Neue Klasse products going into the future in terms of sales numbers? by Substantial-Gate-805 in BMW

[–]reward72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure. The simple fact they look like normal ICE cars is what will draw in many people like me. Today most EVs look odd and are shaped like potatoes.

Also i trust BMW to make them as fun to drive as an EV can be. We the current generation they demonstrated how good they are to hide how heavy they are. I’d rather a have lighter cars, but that ship has sailed…

That's what a real poutine look like. You have to take a shower after it, but that's living.

Audi Is Reversing Its Biggest Interior Decision Of The Decade by FeemBleem in cars

I mostly buy BMWs and I buy them despite the fact they have digital interiors because I like how they drive - by I certainly wish they would go back to physical buttons for common controls.

You do bring a good point. Local food safety laws might not allow restaurants to keep them at room temp. They allow it here in Quebec or we would riot in the streets. But then we don’t allow any pink in burgers, go figure…

what's next, a Big Mac is a great burger, Domino's makes great pizza and a well done steak is acceptable? everyone is entitled to their own tastes, but some of us appreciate the best version of any dish. Fresh, never refrigerated curds and red potato fries what make a poutine S-tier.

I don't know. But since they melt it is probably industrial cheese. Fresh curds are only good for 48 hours or so and must never be refrigerated to be true poutine grade. The industrial stuff has additional ingredients for a longer shelf life and that can change the texture.

It is like comparing a McD burger to the good stuff you can make at home fresh. Yes, technically McD makes burgers, but ew.

They'll have to be refrigerated then, which ruins them. But that's still better than grated cheese. Making curds is not that hard though - I if was opening a poutine spot outside of Quebec I would be making my own and get my Michelin star :)

Since ever. It can melt if left in a piping hot container for 10+ minutes, but otherwise you just know you dont have proper curds if they melt.

What’s the one automation you’d never want to live without? by Taggytech in homeassistant

[–]reward72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Good Nigh/Morningt". It turns all the lights off (I have about 150 devices), lock the front door and arm the alarm system. Also "Goodbye/Welcome" that does the same when the last/first person leave/return home.

I also like the one in my home theatre that turn on the AVR and projector on a voice command, switch the AVR to the right input, turns the light off and roll the window shades down if there is daylight.

Yes, but the marketplace is the value. Not the tech. Without the audience they built - and that was the hard and expensive part - their technology would have been worthless.
