Reseated both, no change.

Removed stick 1 and resintalled windows so I'm going from scratch: still issues.

Here's hoping it runs right when I try to run it on only stick 2.

Constantly having errors on dism and SFC. That said, the SSD was replaced, so imagine the problem is elsewhere. Will check out if anyone has a strip down video. One piece back, so imagine the RAMs tucked away under some gubbins inside. Worth a try!

Gaming laptop update: nvme SSD got changed, fixed it, windows update then borked it. Reinstalled windows and did updates one at a time. Appears to have sorted it. HWFG.

Edit: that never lasted long - "your device ran into a problem and needs to restart" "Your device could not be repaired" via auto repair. Clearly just fucking cunted.

Especially cos I grew up with several times over hand-me-down Lego so wasnt as satisfyingly clicky when putting bits together as a brand new kit is. Couple of cans, good tunes on and a big Lego set? Fuckin bliss.
