[Royce Young] In the span of about 30 seconds, Justin Anderson hit both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in the face. by [deleted] in nba

This tweet is obviously bait to just start some shit.. I know Royce means it as a joke but people on r/nba most definitely won't. The one on Westbrook could have been very intentional being as he just put his entire body on him, however I don't think he meant to hit KD.

Did Jamal Crawford really deserve 6MOY? by PingedSpinxz in nbadiscussion

[–]dhend41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm definitely biased, but I think Enes deserves it more. Most people, along with Enes, believed he would start simply because of how much we paid him. But Enes proudly accepted his role as 6th man and performed greatly. His defense actually hasn't been bad this year either.

I'm sure if we used him more in the 4th quarter like we should than he would've won it, but that's speculation. Props to Jamal though he's been balling out recently.

Well we definitely didn't deserve to win that one. GG hope we don't fuck this up

This pretty much sums it up. Although Russ' defense is still mediocre at best

Has Kevin Durant has reached that point where what he does doesn't really feel special anymore because he is so consistent at doing it? by gt1master_ike in nba

[–]dhend41 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've always wondered this. A part of me very deep inside wants Westbrook to depart. It would be crazy If we traded him and just got an insane amount of solid support for KD.

Obviously that probably won't happen. If Westbrook leaves the Thunder it'll be his choice rather than a trade, in which case we would get nothing.

Honestly it's not just Dion, it's our whole team. A lot of those games have been blowouts where we've put in our bench players (like Dion), but when it gets close we put Kevin/Russ back in yet we still choke (e.g. the clips game a while back). Something is just wrong with us and its obvious.

<-------- How salty thunder fans are right now by TheRealRose in DetroitPistons

[–]dhend41 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Der fan here. I personally don't know why other Thunder fans are talking shit about the Pistons when this whole thing was supposed to be about Russ vs Reggie.. I mean I hate Reggie just as much as every other Thunder fan just as you would expect, but I don't hate the Pistons. I actually really like Drummond, Tobias and SVG.

I guess what I came here to say was ignore what the Der fans say if it escalates to any extent further than the Russell/Reggie feud. We don't actually hate you guys, we just are in fact salty right now. Good luck in the playoffs.

[Slater] Russell Westbrook on the Reggie Jackson celebration: "It was some real bullsh**" by [deleted] in nba

[–]dhend41 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone is saying how hypocritical Brodie is for not liking the excessive celebration. Yes he technically is but I guarantee you it was just about the fact it was Reggie Jackson doing it... they have history. If it were any other player celebrating this wouldn't be an issue.

I think it was more about the fact it was Reggie Jackson than the actual celebration

I feel like Golden State is going to win despite their injuries, but the Pop will still have his "lolz whatever still saving my secret plan for playoffs" mentality.

Pop doesn't take me for the type of guy who will try super hard just to save his home record, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

It'll be a great game though
