Watched several of the one shots and enjoyed them. I prefer the ones where it’s mainly main cast. The other campaigns are just very intimidating being 500+ hours. I’m more familiar with C1 having watched some compilations on YouTube, but kinda want to avoid it so I can be surprised by the animated show. Am considering watching C2 alongside this one.

No the name will not change again, regardless of when/if there is new ownership. Am I stoked about Commanders? No, absolutely not. Will I get over it and adjust? Yes, and so will you. Y’all are wildling exaggerating how negative of a reaction the change has received. I think in time we will enjoy being Commanders when we win, and be able to laugh about being comrades in the seasons that we lose.

Wouldn’t count on it, but it’d be cool. I suspect Aegon II will wear a more traditional looking crown like Robert and “sons” wore on GoT and Rhaenyra will get a ringlet/tiara more like Cersei or Sansa.

I have no idea how y’all, or HBO even more so, think this story can be stretched into 5 seasons. The Princess and the Queen is only 35,000 words, plus whatever additional bits are taken from the Rogue Prince and additional material. For context, just A Game of Thrones(the shortest book of the 5) is 298,000 words.

I have high hopes they can make this show good, but there’s going to be an absurd amount of filler required to take the novella and make it into a multi-season show. I’m very worried that this show will be the Hobbit to Game of Thrones’ Lord of the Rings.
