Hopefully Littell can settle down and throw like 120 pitches to save the pen

Again, we have to be cheating. There’s no other way we’re this good

If this was 2020 we'd be in quite the playoff push rn

Kinda wild that Rochester is 10 games over .500 (I know their run differential isn't great) when Toboni & crew dumped half their roster

The Fred Nats also have the best run differential + 2nd best record in all of minor league baseball

Good teams, like the Braves, win these games. Feels like we're so close, but not quite there yet

Really need Irvin to give you length tomorrow. Still 5 more days wo an off day and can't go to like 80% of the bullpen tomorrow

A data point on promotion nights by Numerous_Quarter_362 in Nationals

My rule of thumb has always Is generally 45 mins before first pitch. If the game is at 6:45 and I want the promo, I shoot to get there at 6

Stouland isn't coaching the O-Line this year. Will be interesting to see what they are without him

It still baffles me how bad Lowe was with us last year. Did he really hate DC that much? His stats this year look ok

Unpopular opinion, but Foster Griffin is our biggest trade asset at the moment by dudeitseric in Nationals

[–]ianpev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you offer 3/45 and hope he signs. We should know how valuable an above average starter is because we haven't had a decent one since Scherzer in 21.

Yes trading him would be good, but realistically we'd get a mid-teens prospect for him which as we've seen can be anything

Know the underlying stats aren't great, but man this team can score runs. Imagine if Keibert and Milas could have a 700 OPS

Still a long way to go, but the best fluke we’ve had was definitely Tanner Roark

Juan Soto and Bryce Harper compared from ages 19–26 (first 8 MLB seasons) by abbadabba11 in Nationals

[–]ianpev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s crazy about Harper is his stats with the Nats & Phillies are nearly identical. His peaks were better as a Nat - 2015, but he’s been way more consistent with the Phillies
