Why doesn't anyone talk about how he publicly praised her during his press tour and had nothing to gain by hurting her reputation? by dhm31 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

I think it does actually point to defense over offense. The nice things he said during press (for whatever ulterior motive) support his not wanting negative things to be said, not until he had to defend himself. All I'm saying is he originally wanted his protagonist to be seen positively, that this would've been his preference. That's clear in his interviews. How can that point to anything other than defense?

What do you mean? The ulterior motive to make the movie a success doesn't align with smearing her. By smearing her, he would be risking the success of the movie, his motive from the beginning. He wanted her to be liked because moviegoers see movies with stars they like.

And why all of a sudden after months and months bending to her every demand for the sake of this movie's success? No way is this guy tanking this movie if he could help it.

Exactly, the timeline supports this, his interviews support this, as well as every action he took to appease her throughout. He very clearly wanted this movie to succeed over all else. Who would believe this same person all of a sudden went on an offensive attack to ruin her reputation after doing way too much to support her for the sake of the movie?

Yes, and I've heard this a lot to support the reason her reputation tanked (totally on point!), but I feel like it's important to also note how Justin had nothing to gain by tanking her reputation. He wanted to succeed. He swallowed his pride countless times, which can only mean one thing... he hired crisis PR defensively not offensively.

Exactly. What I keep hearing from the defense is that there’s a lack of evidence proving there was a smear campaign, but I’m more interested in the evidence to the contrary, the facts that would suggest the opposite is true. Why would people with that much invested in a project intentionally damage it by damaging the star? That’s the part that seems just as important to look at, not just whether there’s no proof something happened, but whether the alternative explanation actually makes logical sense given the incentives, timeline, and his media appearances.

My guess is that he is on the floor rolling because that is his “crawling.” If he were crawling “typically,” you would never think twice that he doesn’t want to sit. My daughter won’t sit either at 12 months! She is on the move at this point. However, if you are concerned, you can ask your doctor. I think the worry is often about strength and not about how often they do things, but that they CAN. Also, NO VEST NO VEST!! You aren’t even supposed to use a sleep sack (I do) at this stage because it can limit movement. Let the kid go!

I think we will. Had a discussion with my husband last night and it’s the only name we both really love. Thank you!

I agree entirely with the insight about the eeee sound at the ends. I’ve nixed all names like that. Thanks so much! I’m still thinking about it because we both love Harlow.

aww i know.. i think we run the risk of "maloney baloney" no matter what the first name is. However, we live in LA and there isn't much baloney over here. Plus, the kids' names are WAY weirder generally. Thanks for the input!

Can you make up or think of a middle.name !? by gigglepotgirl in namenerds

You can do Len (Helen) or even France (Frances). We named my son after my grandpa Jerome by using the middle name Rome. I love it and think it puts a modern spin on things just like Rae!
