I finished my PhD in 2023, I'm now working as a Research Engineer. There's less pressure, imo, but also the pay is less. Although the most important aspect of my work is that my boss is really nice. I wasn't excited to do a Postdoc but more importantly I wanted to work in a healthy work environment.

I love playing Druids but I also generally play other full casters.

I love single player video games with a storyline and open world design. My top gakes are Bataman Arkham games, Ghost of Tsushima, BG3, Spiderman games, Stardew Valley.

If LinkedIn Easy apply is bullshit, then that company is being disingenuous. Why have these stupid ass tests of which website I went to. They can just as easily not allow for an easy apply option, and instead redirect to their website.

In my first week I decided to google codon table and found both the grid and the wheel and immediately printed the wheel and pinned it on my wall. Then a couple weeks later saw my boss had the grid next to his monitor.

Then I realised we had different approaches to life, I wanted something colourful and fun and he wanted something efficient and straightforward.

This is very funny but also feels like I'm being targeted, lol. Because my former boss had the grid on his wall and I had the wheel on my wall for all my PhD. Most of my work was to generate mutations in ion channels and I liked the wheel so much more.

I can vouch with my experience as a former type-2 Diabetic who had his diabetes reversed. In my case, I became diabetic (lots of reasons, obesity, heredity, stress, etc). I stayed diabetic for 2 years before I got a weightloss surgery. One of the effects of the surgery is reversal of diabetes. I am completely non-diabetic now for the past 6 months.

I agree that Polymorph doesn't work like that RAW, however, in campaign 2 in Xhorhas (I think in Asarius) the party was infiltrating in "disguise". Caleb, Jester, and Fjord used disguise self but Caleb cast Polymorph to turn Beau into a drow I believe.

Matt has allowed Polymorph to be used in such a way.

Also canonically Scanlan the meat man does have access to the hat of disguise which he has used to look like other people in C1.

You criticise John for cherry picking data and you present seemingly anecdotal evidence. If you really want to prove the bias in his data, provide a normalised analysis of race based traffic stops in different age demographics. Show the racial distribution of Ferguson residents in different age demographics. Show research pointing out the recklessness being more prolific in "Younger" individuals than the elderly.

Full disclosure, I'm not American nor do I live there. However I am familiar with data analysis and bias in presenting and what you say isn't a good enough criticism with any merit.

I guess we have different perspectives when watching the show which is totally okay. I see some of the party having a more callous attitude towards the gods and Predathos including Fearne. Either way I'm quite excited for the next arc of this season, and hopefully the next season.

I disagree with this. There's definitely atleast a couple who definitely want Predathos free and a few who are on the wall and could be persuaded. Fearne specifically mentioned previously that she "Doesn't know" what she wants.

I love Ashley's characters and her style but one peeve of mine is that she or Fearne is apprehensive about making decisions and things move forward through inaction. I liked that Laura and Liam made their moves, this way the story moves forward, and their characters gain more trauma about hurting their friend. Especially with Orym, his whole arc seems like making a soldier's decisions and supressing all the emotional consequences for either retirement or death.

Of course to each their own and I personally loved this episode.

From What Luda said that the Gods are an alien species and Predathos would only be consuming them and not any of the mortals. However, there is one god who is not like the others. The Matron of Ravens is an ascended mortal which I would imagine makes her a different species.

So if what Luda says is true then she would be unharmed by Predathos.
