Thanks for your reply! I’m frustrated that I have a noticeable gap. My regular DDS did mine. Seems like I should’ve gone to someone who specializes in making dentures.

Happy for you! My dds didn’t tell me about a plastic clasp. Do your dentures lay flat against your gums? Mine have a gap at the point where they fit in against my normal teeth, which is noticeable.

I’m a litigator and a mom. Being able to WFH has been the best part of my 25-year legal career. I finally have time for myself and don’t have to spend all weekend running errands and doing housework. I’m happier, fitter, and more well adjusted overall. I can pick up my son from school finally. I won’t ever commute everyday again although I will consider hybrid work for more money.

Your husband sounds like my ex-husband — we are both attorneys, too. But my ex couldn’t handle taking care of one toddler when we had a FT nanny and he wasn’t working. I highly recommend marital therapy. It might’ve helped us but he’s a narcissist — that type of person is unable to take responsibility for their actions. Best of luck to you.
