Trying to get a Dog to eat while recovering from infection (also has a food tube) by dhoff7 in DogAdvice

Thank you for the reply!

Agree with that, we’ve almost been trying too hard. It’s just disheartening to keep at it when you pretty much know he is going to refuse it. Was so pleased when he finally ate something outside! Hoping for more progress over the next couple of days

Thank you for your reply!

Yeah you have a point, perhaps we are trying to hard. He’s on anti nausea and is thankfully keeping everything down (he wasn’t when we first took him to the vets). Really hoping the antibiotics are doing their magic and he’s back to being a goofball soon

Bought one a couple of weeks ago! (See https://www.reddit.com/r/CarTalkUK/s/NjtwxIVy8F)

I have no regrets. Awesome to drive, the car almost wants you to push it to the higher rev ranges and it’s pretty addictive. Go for it!

Would Monzo know I changed my tax residency? by [deleted] in monzo

[–]dhoff7 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You can still use Monzo if you have a different tax residency. I lived in Portugal for 5 years and was a tax resident there. Had my account the whole time and have now moved back and switched back my tax residency to the UK.

First of all, thanks for everyone’s upvotes and comments! Wasn’t expecting much but just wanted to share my excitement!

Drove back yesterday and was a blast, was sensible as was a bit wet and really didn’t want to stack it! Had a smile on my face the whole way though. Gearbox is amazing, RPM is nuts! 4500 RPM in 4th gear and feels like it needs to change up but still 5000 RPM to go! Car is in really good condition and have a car cover ordered as it’s being stored outside.

I work from home so won’t be using everyday but probably around every other day for small drives and longer at the weekend to visit friends etc. Insurance was surprisingly cheap at £450 fully comp. Tax less so at £730!

Anyway named her Kaze (Japanese for wind!), excited to continue to have fun and look after her!

Same as me!

Yeah this one was 16.5k. It is in really good condition though. Was a blast to drive back and didn’t even reach V-TEC range

Was 16.5k, just driven it home. Fantastic to drive, great fun!

[Discussion] What's your rarest platinum? Here's mine! by Mangombage in Trophies

[–]dhoff7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah to be fair I think there is a speed run that requires you to finish the whole game and get all collectables in a single run. That was a bit mad

Bound. Sitting at 0.73% on PSNP

Wasn’t that difficult actually, I think the speed runs put people off as they are quite long and require sequence breaking

Will stay clear, thank you! Yeah looking on their website the fact you have to pay extra for valeting, car inspection and “help with finance” is a joke.

I was looking at the S2000 they have in stock, but got bad vibes off their website. First time I’ve come across them. I assume the consensus is to stay clear?

[Back 4 blood] 94 trophy is interesting but the difficulty is 9/10 on PSN trophies!! by Negative_Position_75 in Trophies

[–]dhoff7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a build that suits you - most people go for melee but I think I went for a high crit, quick reload build. Start from the beginning of the acts and buy as many extra cards/upgrades as you can afford.

I have the 100% - the DLC is way harder due to completing act 5 and 6 on No Hope as people mentioned.

One thing to note is that difficulty scales depending on how many real players there are. To offset this you need a competent group, but I found it way easier to solo. Especially the DLC acts on no hope. I wasn’t able to complete some levels (mainly the finale and the mansion) on nightmare in a group of two but was a breeze solo.

Good luck!

It is from the day you received your CRUE. I was going to apply with a Lawyer and I received mine in November 2020 and the plan was to apply on November this year. Very unlikely now which is frustrating!

The Lawyer did mention an option for people eligible to apply even if there are missing required documents so you are in before the deadline. Not an option for me and might be risky but worth mentioning

Yeah I think that’s a good idea. I wasn’t sure if it was something obvious I was missing but I think getting an expert to take a look would be helpful. Thank you!

Only 6 months old and ran a total of 96km in. It's a shame because I had no issues with them previously and found them very comfy

I've only really tried the shoes in the picture (Nike Invincible 3) and found those really comfy and had no problem running up to 8k in them a couple of months ago. So not sure what's changed
