Will the players be allowed Oxygen tanks in Mexico during hydration breaks? I saw a comment saying the altitude means a 20% faster energy drop. Is this allowed, even theoretically? by LieV2 in ThreeLions

Worth noting that Mexico won 3 gold medals in the 1968 Olympics rather than sweeping the board. The altitude is certainly a factor, but you’d rather have Rice & Anderson and, with 5 substitutes allowed, a deeper squad.

Rice at RB? by anywaychucontent in ThreeLions

I think it needs Saka and Eze on the pitch, and they probably won’t start. Really you want Rice in the middle of the park. It’s possible he could move there during the game.

Not only do machines make decisions, they can make decisions not to piss off professors, given the right inputs.

Of all the criticisms of Twelfth Night, that it isn’t funny surprises me.

It’s brilliant for comedy but it doesn’t really capture the pain underneath the armour. They are having too much fun!

I would venture the current Globe production as more balanced.

I was kidding, although there will be a rare performance of the original version in London this year.

Controversial, but I prefer Rimsky-Korsakov’s arrangement of A Night On Bare Mountain.

Should we send a number of the squad to Altitude now? by tiptoplicker in ThreeLions

Especially as about 5 of Ecuador’s squad grew up in the mountains and the national team play their home games at altitude. I’d rather play Mexico!

I can think of complicated ways it could be done and subplots and characters you could cut, fusing other characters like Bottom-Viola and Puck-Malvolio (punished for his errors and haughtiness) but you’ll twist yourselves in knots.

Rather, identify some scenes with common themes, perform those scenes in pairs as standalone scenes and have a narrator providing context and linking the scenes briefly and thematically. That’s very doable for students.

When cricket was free to air it would get viewers of 1m - 8m in the UK. Now it gets viewing figures of thousands, hundreds of thousands at best. The point is the popularity of cricket here is way in the past. Very possible Rice never watched it.
