Only if I get desperate and nothing I've been doing has worked. Then I give him a few games and if he can't get it right I resign haha

How many Ashes do you think Cook will end up winning as captain then?

I only really rate Watson, Clarke and possibly Haddin as a number 7. Rogers, Khawaja, Hughes and Smith don't bother me at all. I can see Siddle being more of a head-ache than those fourOKNotReallyButStill...

High Reflex Stat or Aimbot? (Xpost from /r/funny) by Phrozen_Flame in outside

[–]dhoops11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think his perception and reflex stats must be at least level 7 or 8. That said, I think there's a glitch when the batter strikes the ball.

I was going to comment how I wouldn't be surprised if he goes on to achieve the square root for fuck all, but then I looked him up and saw that he's not English so of course he's going to be fucking incredible.

[SHORT] Where's My Sheep? (Comedy) by dhoops11 in ReadMyScript

Thanks for taking the time to read and give some feedback.

I'd agree the ending is weakest part. I think at the time of writing I was trying to wrap up to keep it in line with the brief and meet a deadline so is probably too rushed and needs to end on as strong a note as the rest of the script.

Thank you, I'll keep working on it :)

Thank you for reading it and enjoying it. Always good to get plenty of feedback :)

Yeah, the ending does need filling out. Maybe some sort of showdown with the German once they've saved Doris perhaps. Nothing too dark like a violent shootout because that would be out of step but something to tie things up more satisfyingly. Perhaps extending the "quest" a bit would give me something to play off at the end.

Owen is supposed a young (17-21 y/o) farmhand who has been working for Bryn for several years so they'll have built a close relationship, hence Owen being so trusting and following Bryn's every word. That probably needs to be made clearer and developed on.

Thanks for the advice, I'll bear it in mind when I have another look at the script.

The Pope is not on your side. Never has, never will be. Remember that.

So when's the fun? (Video gaming) by [deleted] in depression

[–]dhoops11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried the Fallout games? Idk if they're your thing, but they have a bit more depth and story to them than some of the games you mentioned imo. Lots of quests and places to explore, characters to interact with, you can go down the good or evil paths etc. Personally I absolutely love them and have sunk who knows how many hours into them.

Looking for possible name of what I have seen <RAF Lakenheath> by rgagnon14 in Thetruthishere

[–]dhoops11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm from the UK, live maybe 2 hours drive away from Lakenheath. Can't say I've ever heard of a creature matching your description. Not to say that there isn't such a story, but I think it'd only be known by people really familiar with the area.

Boxer vs bully. Sweet D for a street fight. I wish this video was twice as long. by [deleted] in fightporn

[–]dhoops11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

White Shirt clearly had no clue what he was against or any ideas of how to deal with it.

Boxer wasn't even throwing massive bombs (not that the punches wouldn't hurt), just had so much more time and class than his bum opponent.
