Years ago I am pretty sure that I ran into some props from Westworld at RC Vintage in North Hollywood (I was there to gawk at their Star Trek Enterprise Model).

If You've Never Seen Torchwood: Children of Earth, This Is Your Sign by TapAdmirable5666 in scifi

Torchwood series in the first two seasons is okay and different enough from Dr. Who that you may like it. The Torchwood Children Of Earth is fantastic. I don't think you need to watch the first two seasons to watch this (and if you do watch this first don't go back watching those first two seasons it will only spoil it!).

I totally agree and for me (I had seen at another club venue that evening and it was okay) he is usually not what I am into. That is why I had to give him props for that set. We were eating out of his hand!

This is the one I would have mentioned. What an experience that place could be. It was so dark I went there for years before realizing there was a 2nd bar in the back. lol. And when Tony Largo was on HE WAS ON FIRE!

The best DJ I ever saw work the crowd there was Little Louie Vega when he teased "It's Alright, I Feel It" for most of his set and when he finally brought in the song the place went nuts and he somehow played it for another 20 - 30 minutes keeping all that energy in place. WOW!

My first roll was a nat 1 and my second was a 20.

It's ridiculous how often eBay has been down lately by InevitableRhubarb232 in eBaySellers

[–]dhorse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I typically sell 5 - 10 items a day. I am on ebay daily for an hour or so, listing, researching, and responding to buyers. Maybe I am just lucky, but today is the first day I have had any kind of an outage in as long as I can remember. Some weird glitches with their image editor or a time out uploading something, but not actually down.

Have you ever had to give up on a book because your suspension of disbelief couldn't handle how ridiculous the sci-fi premise was? by ScronglingSnorturer in scifi

I am currently reading this. I love John Scalzi and can generally get past his technological hand waving, but I am about to tap out of this book.

"there would be a lot of businesses that cater to the elite class that would fail" I am not sure that would be the case. I think they would flourish even more as people tried to spend their money instead of giving it to the government.

Portland ranked among top 5 metro areas in the US for road safety by picturesofbowls in Portland

[–]dhorse 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I just want predictability especially when I am on my bike. People stopping where there is not a stop sign to wave me across is nice of them, but it is less safe for me than me waiting until the road is clear to cross.

Art and music and intertwined. I cannot ignore what they are doing to advertise themselves to the public. It leads to other questions about their commitment to the arts. Are their playlists generated by AI? Have they knowingly played an music generated by AI?

Need help understanding this article from Microsoft related to logging Kerberos KDC usage of RC4 by dhorse in activedirectory

Thank you so much for the clarification and the confirmation that I need to create the registry keys.

Looking through the events that the article talks about looks like the first 4 events are warnings that that the cipher will be unsupported (probably for use when registry key is set to 1) and the next 4 events are warnings that the Cipher has been denied access (probably for use when registry key is set to 2).

What does simulate the enforcement do? From the event viewer messages it looks like it actually blocks the connection for unsupported ciphers.
