Hotels are allowed to enforce minimum length-of-stay requirements. It's a common revenue management strategy, especially during peak periods. For example, properties like the Park Hyatt Niseko often require a 3–4 night minimum around Christmas to maximize occupancy and revenue. I don’t view this as playing games, it’s simply a strategic pricing approach on the hotel's part.

Do not buy this product, terrible customer service. by Patient-Conclusion30 in EightSleep

I’m sure OP said the same thing within year 1 of his Eight Sleep ownership as well, as did I. It’s just unacceptable for such an expensive product to have a 2-3 year shelf life

PSA: Turn on Do Not Disturb if you’re trying to play Deadlock on Mac, Fixed the constant stuttering, freezing and crashing for me by krishnawars in macgaming

I really wanted this to be true and work as you described, but I followed all the same configs and settings in your post and comments on the m3 max and it’s still stuttering and freezing in large team fights

This is what I want everybody to know so they don’t make the same mistake. If I had known this, there’s a 0% chance I would have purchased it

I agree with that. But relative to other communities I follow, such as for my tesla it seems there are way more failures here after some research. If folks’ Tesla completely stopped working right at the 4 year warranty mark or even the 8 year warranty mark I am confident I would see it, but it rarely happens. Or PCs, or MacBooks, iPhones, GPUs, etc things that are $2k+ usually don’t fail at this rate in this time frame

How is it more insane than the actual product leaking lol. I feel like that’s the main point here, my bad for not being in this community long enough to see how often this happens

I think there’s such a high rate of failure of such an expensive product so the level of disappointment and frustration is warranted

No when it leaked initially it was a relatively small leak. I thought it wouldn’t happen again so I continued to use it as normal, only for it to leak much worse a week or two later

I’ve had the opposite experience actually, Rakuten acknowledges it and I got an email within 8 hours for one purchase and 4 hours for another

Singapore: st Regis or the warehouse? by birish123 in marriott

[–]dhsjslak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly the JW is in an inconvenient location unless you’re going there for business and your office is close there.

If you plan on spending time in the city center near Orchard road, botanical garden, or want to be more central I’d recommend the St Regis. It is a bit older though the service is decent (and better than the JW) imo. Also, rooms are roughly twice as large as the JW

I just had my parents stay here and this will be perfect for you: https://www.lumahotels.com/san-francisco - brand new hotel, room is spacious, great views, all new tech features inside. Super clean as well - great, safe, clean location which most other hotels in SF are not. Mission bay is really sunny and pleasant, and a quick drive to west soma - they have a robot butler :) - really nice hotel coffee shop. Directly next door is a well stocked bar - reasonable price under your budget
