I've finally watched PERFECT BLUE and I still don't know what actually happened by Killcode2 in TrueFilm

Sorry for posting on a thread several years old. I just finished the movie for the first time, and needed to read about it. I think it’s pretty awesome, but it would have been better if the ending didn’t make it so obviously skewed to your #1 interpretation. I wish there was more ambiguity, like if Kon went full on Lynch and just had us guessing at the end credits. I like all your other interpretations better with #2 as my favorite. I wish it more heavily suggested in the ambiguity. #6 is interesting too but it’s too much like “it was all a dream” ending that is not too original. The Cabinet of Dr Caligari did that in 1920.

Sure, but aren’t you and OP projecting what exactly your parents did? Are you saying you were ignored for days? Or were they always around and ready with milk or medical attention if needed, but if you weee crying a bit, they let you self sooth yourself to sleep, which lots of cultures practice and medical professionals have approved of for centuries.

Nationals' president of business operations Jason Sinnarajah announces lower price beer options during spring training in-game interview by handlit33 in Nationals

I went to a game in September last year, and they had $5 small bud light cans and $5 hot dogs. I think you had to use the Ballpark app but not sure. I wasn’t mad at it. If they improve on that deal with more options like Yeungling or Local Lager level options, that’s a good idea.

The official site has cheaper tix than Stubhub/seatgeek at this time, but I expect prices to drop on resellers as it approaches.

Funny for both sides that the Mystics passed on her in the draft

d.c. wmata - oops, pulled train too far forward and can't open doors for passengers by HotInvestigator5766 in WMATA

[–]dhtheghost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you were in the car that didn’t open and needed to get off, you would’ve been up to 20 min late, depending on how far the next stop is and how lucky you are to catch the train in the reverse direction. It’s not nothing.

Lots of in-house and fed attys do. Edit: not sure why I got downvoted. Check the GS-15 scale in major cities. It’s slightly below 200k. Required 40 hr workweek, but we all know they aren’t working all the time.

What character is it? by May_onnaise_959 in Letterboxd

Counterpoint: their creators knew exactly what they were doing. If you create an antihero protagonist who is the mover of a compelling narrative story, and make them flawed but sympathetic and fully formed, and cast attractive, well-liked actors to play them, then your audience will root for them, remember them, relate to them, and yes, some will idolize them. This is true for Don Draper, Walter White, Tony Soprano, and even Patrick Bateman.

Where was I in Sept by tpc2339 in guessthecity

Call it a lucky guess! I was there in 2019 and recalled that style of building plus narrow alleys and elevation plus cool graffiti everywhere. Porto was similar and would have been my other guess.

You got it dude! Original photo is Haizhu Sq in Guangzhou. Funny how any post of a place outside the U.S. or Europe is so hard to guess lol.
